Good product, well constructed. It would be nice to have a rated capacity, but it seems to be plenty for my application.

With all the gear cluttering up my studio, this wall mount has been quite refreshing. Installation was straightforward, though I opted for my own screws rather than the ones provided. It's a sturdy piece, managing to hold my LED ring light in various positions. Great for when I'm shifting around to get those perfect angles, although tightening the light can be a bit fiddly. It has definitely made my lighting setup more flexible, keeping the floor clear for my yoga mat and the kids' occasional dance-offs. However, the plastic fittings do feel a bit on the cheap side and could be sturdier.I'd love to see a better locking mechanism, maybe a metal option. But hey, no more tripping over stands - that's a win! Perfect for my podcasting sessions or even capturing Tim's latest LEGO creations for family abroad.

Space saving, not having to drill into celling to find joist is great. When not in use it can retrack and swing to the side and get the head room back.Simple to install with the paper template, I use my own wall plugs and screws but it did come with wall anchors and cable tidy straps. It can support up to medium light box and flash lights, with the pole fully extended the joint can bend a little under load which is not what I want to see in a studio.

I really like this light mount, My ring was kind of heavy on it and I find that it’s a little top-heavy. It’s hard to really get the ring light tight onto the mount when you’re moving it around a lot which I have to do for pictures and different spots in the Salon. But overall, I really like it. It helps declutter floor space and it’s a very sturdy LED light mount. 10. Would recommend really just wish that I could tighten my light onto it more sturdy but it just doesn’t let you in which might be more about the type of light I have I don’t know.

Living in a hospital bed, and needed a way to put light where I needed it over a wide area. Friend placed the Mskira mount centered at the head of the bed high enough that when sitting on the bed, it wouldn't touch my head, about 5' above the floor. The 2 sets of 4 close mounting holes let the 8 screws all hit the stud in the wall providing a very solid mount. An inexpensive 10" LED ring light with cord-mounted controls completed the install, and just dropped the USB wire with controls far enough to be able to reach up, and control the light. Very good solution! Since it can swing basically 180 degrees, and the ring light can be rotated, it is perfect for innumerable tasks in and around the large bed. Very happy with this purchase.

One of the pipes came out of the socket. And my light almost fell. The other one is holding up well. You need a tool to tighten the screw that keeps the pipes inside. They are sturdy and strong

I ordered this this boom arm as a companion to a larger one that I already own. I went from using light stands to Autopoles to gain some floor space and not trip over things, but the Autopoles, while small in cross section, are still kind of in the way. These boom arms are the best, because they can hold up a studio strobe and softbox and there is nothing to hurdle or trip over at all. The floor stays totally clear!Quality on this item isn't bad considering the price. The tubing is pretty stout, but the fittings are plastic - you won't confuse this with something from Manfrotto. I feel like the locking handle for the angle adjustment is a bit on the small side, it's really the only thing on the boom arm that seems like it's the bare minimum required in order to do the job. The knobs that lock tube extension are just like you'd find on any light stand except the ultra-premium ones. Like my other boom arm, snugging up the angle of rotation requires a wrench. It would be really nice to have an adjustment knob here as well.Overall, the value here isn't bad. You'll be happy you spent the $58 when you are not tripping over lighting equipment and rigging items on the floor., especially if you don't change your lighting setup very often.
