This thing worked super great! I was skeptical since it seemed to be a cheap and easy way to get around having to hacksaw my steerer tube, but it worked really well... 3 times on the same cutting wheel/disc. The fact that it was strong enough to effortlessly cut thru three rockshox mtb forks tells me that it exceeded my specs. since I have many other replacement discs, means I can be confident that I have room to err on the side of caution. Also, the tool tracked very well. I didn't have any issues with the disc wandering from the initial cut. I may not need to use this often, but I'm glad I bought the right one for the right price.

Worked as described! Took a 1/2 inch of my aluminum handlebars with zero issues. The inside of the tube needed minimal clean up with a file.

I attempted to cut a 1-inch PVC pipe for 30 minutes. The cutting wheel constantly slipped off, making zero progress. Claimed cutting capacity is misleading. Poorly manufactured, likely cheap Chinese product. Immediately returned. Total waste of time. It maybe ok for other products not for PVC

I used this, with good results, to cut the steerer tube of a Marzocchi Z2 Bomber suspension fork. It made a clean, straight cut with minimal filing required.

I used this to trim down my aluminum bike handlebars for my mountain bike. It was able to do the job and cut straight lines.
