The M1-8 Color Optix 2-way 8” speakers deliver loud, clear, accurate sound, and light the way for your journey! The M1-8 speakers are designed to pair with the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix Controller and RF Connect App, allowing you to choose from 30 different color scrolling options or choose any fixed color from the color wheel (PMX-RGB Color Optix Controller sold separately). The speed and brightness can also be dialed in to compliment and customize every installation.
The Element Ready design and IP67 certification makes these speakers truly purpose-built for marine or motorsport applications where protection from damaging UV rays and water spray is essential. The Color Optix series creates a true marine ecosystem, utilizing Deutsch and Amphenol connections, to provide advanced marine plug-and-play connectivity.
The M1-8 speaker come as a pair, in all white, with an attached grille design for easy mounting. They not only provide rich, reliable illumination with their ultra-bright, wide-angle LED lighting, but the sonic performance will impress even more. The 8” speakers provide exceptional low and midrange frequency reproduction with a 1” grille integrated dome tweeter providing crystal clear highs.
Whether you’re using source unit power or amplifier power, the M1 series produces optimized output for a radiant rocking ride on land or water.

I put these speakers in my bay boat. Unbelievable sound! They handle my 700 watt amp with room to spare and have great bass range too.

Put 2 pairs of these in a buddie's boat and was like wow!! I use JL Audio in my boat for a cost of $200 mor per set and these speakers sound just as good. Have them on a JBL marine amp also. For the cost difference you cannot go wrong!

If you buy these throw way the low grade torch screws and get good ss phillips. Other than that they are great

Ok, now the boat sounds like I want it too. The wife said STOP, it's loud enough...10" Dual Sub, RF 6.5" fronts, RF 8" rears, and RF M-2 500 amps driving. Clean, Clear, Thumping, Can't hear the engine music.There is a big difference between the sound output of the 8" and the 6.5" speakers. I was underwhelmed with the four 6.5" speakers and sub setup. Reading other reviews of 8" vs 6.5" speaker setups I decided I should have installed the 8's. After replacing the rears with these and rebalancing the amps - I am no longer underwhelmed. No, I won't win any contest but 'You Shook Me All Night Long, Life in the fast lane and Black in black sure sound good. In fact, You shook me all night long is now my riders favorite song, whether they like it or not :o)

Awesome Rockford quality as expected. Sound great and love the build in Deustch connectors so all the wiring is totally sealed.

Sounds great. Replaced 8" Kickers with these. Fosgate sounds better.
