I used them last night on my grill. I seasoned up some veggies and put them in the cage and threw them on the grill. Worked great. You can leave the handles on or take them off. If you leave them on and close the grill lid, the handles will get hot but not burn. I'm happy with them.

To start off, getting the lid off takes some getting use to. But the more you use it, the easier it gets, just keep it clean. As for the baskets themselves.... Amazing idea. There are 2 different sizes, one large and one a bit smaller. For storage, they go inside of each other so that saves space. How you sellise them is endless. I originally got them to grill vegetables along with steaks or hamburgers. The kids wanted to try tater tots and chicken nuggets. I figured why not.... OMG!!! Their idea opened up so many different ideas. Things I would. Ever thought to grill are not going on the grill. We did beef tips one night to go with pasta. Soooo much better then doing it on the stove top. These are not only functional but sturdy. The handle screws off so it does not take up too much room on the grille. I think they are a great value for the money and have told our friends about them! Give them a shot and see what all you can cook in them!

These baskets can replace many different grilling utensils. Say good bye to skewers! The ability to rotate and reposition what you are grilling makes this a very versatile grill accessory. You can still add seasoning while the food is cooking and rotate to ensure you are seasoning every piece.Easy to clean. Fits well in the dishwasher.

Love this updated grill basket!! I love to cook my vegetables on the grill and small meats like shrimp. The previous ones were good but no handle. The handles makes it so easy to use. Perfect sizes, quality construction and easy open lids!! Definitely a must for an avid griller like me!!

These are fantastic for kebab, so much easier than skewers. Also great for grilling veggies, shrimp, scallops, or even chicken chunks. Easy to season while you cook as well. Perfect for any grill master's collection.

The detachable handle of this item makes it an ideal fit for my small double sink. It's excellent for grilling vegetables, shrimp, scallops, and small or chopped items. The ends can be tricky to open when hot and would benefit from end handles. If you enjoy vegetables with a slight char and crispiness from an open flame, this is perfect. Previously, I used tin foil on the grill for veggies, but this tool imparts the authentic grill flavor I've always sought. It's a high-quality, user-friendly product that's also easy to clean.

Bought these to try as option to traditional shish kabob skewers. Looked like they might work better: WRONG! First, i BBQ 5-6 nights/week, known locally as kinda gourmet chef with all my dishes/sauces cooked on charcoal on one of several Webers....No wieners here! I cook the GOURMET stuff! Anyway, shish kabobs are used 2-3 x's per month, until last night when i tried out these "rolling baskets". First problem large one would NOT OPEN. I'm no weakling, I pump iron 3x's/week. But the basket simply refused to open no matter what. Ultimately pryed it open with a knife and applied spray olive oil to both. Second, when attaching the wooden handles, although sufficient, it was clear to me they would probably NEVER make it a year---at my type of usage. But last night they worked fine. Third, absent using the standard Weber grill top, there really is no viable way to suspend baskets above the flame, absent another contraptions, especially given the baskets are different sizes; Fourth, although they cooked OK there is really no way to "check" the status of the items (particularly the meat/fish/poultry) inside the cooking chamber,....so ya gotta guess---which is OK UNLESS you are cooking filet mignon....which is done here 3-4 x's per month; Fifth, upon removing the "tubes" it was time to reopen. Small one was fine. LARGE would NOT open. Now I have "cooking gloves" that allow the user to grab anything really hot, including right off the grill (or burying your hand in boiling water), but even with both hands could NOT budge the lid to open! I broke out a flat head screw driver, then a hammer to tap; and ultimately a pair of sheers! Ultimately it DID open, but by THAT TIME all the food was cold, so I had to microwave to heat it all up! ughhhhhhh....FINALLY, came CLEANING TIME!!!! Now what one has, are two mesh containers with small chunks of food stuck to the inside of the cannisters, even though they were sprayed with olive oil. and although one CAN manage to get a hand inside with a wire pad to clean, no way with the small cannister... soooooo you have to invent a contraption to clean the inside of the small one. Upon this realization, my choice was clear: INTO THE TRASH THEY GO!SUMMATION: these grilling tubes/cannistars etc. are simply poor alternatives to the good old fashion shish-kabob skewers! Ideally you should be able to grill with these without any other grates/utensils etc. HOWEVER you will STILL NEED to use your grill top, so the cannistars dont sit on the coals. In the end you will THEN need to clean the grill top AND the cannistars, which are NOT "cleaner friendly" In fact they are a pain. Meanwhile when using the skewers, there really is not much to clean other than the skewer itself which because it is covered in food, is really a quick swipe: DONE! In conjunction, after removing the cannsitars from the grill the ensuing hand to hand combat with a hot cannsistar is not what I would call "the joy of cooking"! Save yourself the $$, stick to skewers OR simply use the gold old fashion flat mesh grill top, which allows you to turn the food with a set of tongs! and very little drops through when using a smaller gauge....

The quality of the metal is really good, the design is nice and the work well. In shipping on of the lids had been smashed on and I needed to use some leverage to get it unstuck but it’s fine now and really happy with the build quality.
