This is not a must have item but at the price its handy to have. In the past I have used a couple of washers, or a sheet sand paper or shim the fence but these are a better solution. Worth the price.

These work really well, the only "drawback" is the thicknesses are decimal fractions of an inch. It'd be nice if this was offered with fractional inch thicknesses.

These shims fit perfectly in my Grizzly routing table when I want to use it as a jointer.

The slots don't fit my fence but I was able to solve this problem using a high tech device called scissors. After that, they do exactly what they're suppose to do. I'm getting crisp clean edges.

If you need to have shims for your Router table fence system for jointing these will serve you well. 6 shims are more than needed and can be made to fit your Fence.
