Great 9000BTU RV mini split, works excellent with my RV solar system. It starts slowly and goes up to 500-600 watts for about 10min and then starts drop while reaching the set temperature, I set mine to 65F "freezing" for my 18' trailer and it hovers around 200w while its running. but the compressor shuts down sometimes due to reaching the set temp. I have seen 13watts from the blower while the compressor shuts off. its inverter but it does shut off when it reaches the set temp. Its very quiet. Attached pictures are from my build.

Things I would have liked to know before buying.Maximum wattage I’ve seen so far is around 1600 watts at maximum heating maximum fan. It heats really good. 18500btu heating is the equivalent to 3.7 1500 watt heaters. Most of the time when it comes on in the morning and evening it hovers around 1300-1000 watts. I set it extra warm 80-73 in the mornings and evenings for when my wife gets up/home. I set it at 68 at night and I rarely hear it come on. It runs a lot less if you just put it into cooling only or heating only.The auto constantly try’s to heat and cool all day and wastes power. There is a mute mode to keep the fan at a quiet setting for sleeping and you can turn the display off so you don’t have the light shining in your bedroom. Planning on using it during the above freezing days to reduce the amount of firewood I have to get for the year. It has a defrost heater that you can keep off if you don’t want the extra electricity use. There is a manual on ROVSUN’s website that shows you how to put it into pairing mode to connect to the app. In the IPhone App Store the app is Purple with a House symbol called “SmartLife-SmartHome” if you have any issues changing the schedule to something different from what you initially decided it works better to just delete all the timer schedules, reset the ROVSUN with the remote and start over.The heating works great. Haven’t had any nights yet that were below 40f degrees. I may update once I get a few freezing and below freezing days.I’m expecting to use it only during the warmer winter days and supplement with wood heat. For 699.99 and 100 shipping and 22 seer rating it’s a no brainerI was quoted 5k for a similar system and over 20k to replace my oil furnace. It’s already saving me money vs oil and electric heat.It comes with a vinyl tape that has no adhesive. You have to start it with some electrical tape or something then wrap it snug and tape it when you get to the end. It doesn’t come with anything else to cover the refrigerant lines. The refrigerant insulation needs UV protection so it doesn’t break down. I wrapped it with the vinyl tape and covered everything with a 15.8’ mini split line set cover from VEVOR for $40

I installed the unit, and everything seemed to work fine until we noticed water damage to the interior Paint. The inside head unit was leaking the condensation drain water into my wall. I contacted the seller (Not a PRIME seller), and they asked me to return it. The request was at my expense ($80), and I had to get Amazon involved to get a Prepaid return. It has been going on for 3 weeks now, and there is no refund yet! WTF? I contacted Amazon, no help!I went to Home Depot and paid a little extra and had the replacement unit on the same day. It worked perfectly, and Home Depot gave me 12 months, the same as cash, with no interest.

We just put 6 of these in our home to replace our antiquated whole house HVAC system. The power bills are down and our house has never been this cool during our hot Nevada summers. These units easily handle keeping the house 30 degrees cooler than outside! I will caution against wall mounting though as they can cause vibration in the house studs. We have one in the garage that was just fine and we never hear it but we mounted two to the walls and they make a lot of strange random vibrations in other parts of the house. If possible, go with the ground pad or concrete pad mount. We're now figuring out how we're going to shim a pedastool under them without disconnecting them and letting all the refrigerant out so we can take them off the side of the house and put them on posts in concrete.

We installed this in our 42 ft 5th wheel camper. It made a huge difference and works much better than our 3 rooftop rv AC's. Wish we'd done it much sooner! It was easy enough to install as my husband installed it while we were boondocking this summer in Utah. This is one of the best things we've done to our camper! If you want to see our full length review, we did a test at 117° outside on our YouTube channel, "The Roving Vets". We've been telling everyone to buy this minisplit! The ease of turning it on or off from bed or from the other side of the country because of the wifi is pretty neat, too!

I bought this last April and it's one of the best investments I've ever made. Its saved me $150.00 a month on cooling. Even the man that installed it was impressed and said he was going to get one. I'm so happy with it! I was concerned about getting it as it was a large amount of money for me but I'm so glad I got it!!! Thank you Rovsun for such a quality product. Very quiet too and also has heating.
