I love the larger capacity size of 48 eggs so this would be great for those wanting to hatch a larger chicken flock. Digital controls are easy to use and understand.

It holds temperature and humidity wonderfully. It's really easy to use, the controls are fantastic, and the candler on top makes checking on my babies so convenient. 100% recommended.

What a machine, really helps with the workload for hatching chicks.Very easy to use with just a few touches of some buttons and a little water and off to the races!48 eggs is a whole lot of eggs for such a low cost machine and it just so easy to use, I had better yields than doing this by hand and did not need to babysit the processes as much, so I was free to do other tasks.I would recommend this to others and give it a 10 out of 10

First off, this is a very thin-plastic incubator, so the temps will not be stable if the outside temps fluctuate a lot. You can keep it in its styrofoam packing, which the instructions do recommend, but this removes almost 95% of the viewing space and you may as well just go buy a styrofoam incubator instead since at least the top will have windows you can see through (the top on this one is solid yellow and has all the heating stuff you can't see through anyways).Secondly, be prepared for a massive box. The box the incubator comes in is pretty good sized because this is a larger tabletop incubator with a large styrofoam shell, but the Amazon box it comes in was absolutely ridiculous. It legit looked like I had ordered a dorm-sized refrigerator. I had to unpack it outside because the box was too big to fit through my door. I wish I was kidding. Now for the actual review... the incubator does technically work. The fan is quiet and moves air well enough (computer fan), the heating coil warms up quick, and the egg turner tilts smoothly and silently every hour or so. The digital control panel is large, the buttons are solid and click well, and the numbers/letters are easy to see in both bright light and darkness.Complaints... the humidity and temp readings are WAY OFF on my unit. I tested this with 6 (yes, I said six) independent high quality and fully trusted thermometer/hygrometers in various spots inside the incubator over the past several days before leaving this review. My incubator was running 8 degrees colder than it said (it said 100, was actually 92.1) and 14% higher on humidity (it said 48%, was actually 62%).The alarms are nice, but absolutely ANNOYING!!! The manual is very vague on how to actually adjust these settings, so it took me much longer than it should have to figure out how to drop the threshold on the humidity alarm. The alarm would scream (extremely loudly, scaring both myself and my dogs) if the humidity dropped below 45% - which was WAY too high for incubating quail eggs. I was finally able to adjust it so it shouldn't alarm until the humidity drops to 15%. (Again, keeping in mind the humidity reading on the incubator itself is 14% different from the ACTUAL humidity)The incubator threw countless error readouts on the first day as I was trying to get it figured out and dialed in. NONE OF THESE error codes were listed in the manual at all. The manual also says to visit the website if you have trouble, so I did... nowhere on the website do they have any mention of incubators. It's all automotive stuff. I even did a website search using their on-site search bar for incubators, no results. So that's cool.Overall, not very impressed with this... but it's a cheapo Chinese incubator so I can't complain TOO much I guess. However, because of the issues with getting it set, the error codes that have no explanation, and the stupidly wrong temp and humidity readouts, I'm only giving it 3 stars. Will it hatch eggs? Sure... but so will a light bulb in an Igloo cooler. Is this a trustworthy incubator straight out of the box? Absolutely not.Would I recommend it to others? Nope. Much better options out there.
