I’m in Florida and worried about flooding with the hurricanes. They were filling sandbags close by at Fire Station but they were too heavy for me to carry. Plus you need to remove them after storm or they turn into cement. These were thick & long giving good protection from flooding. Luckily we never flooded but secure from the elements. After the storm, we just emptied - dry out & store for the next use! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I got the XXL 120lb’er.First thing first…1. Sand MUST BE DRY. I’ve spend days in the driveway with a heat gun drying sand to get it in the valve.2. Get a 1 foot length of 1 in ID and a 1 in ID funnel, makes filling it easier.3. You will need a bag to put this into, I lucky have a bunch of old duffle/sea bags for this purpose4. The bladder may hold a lot more than advertised. I lost track of how many bags I had added, so I finally weighed it…172 at a little more than half full. The 120 may be closer to 220-250 full!5. Going to try the 60lb 2 pack and the 80 lb to see what I get with that as I’m looking more in the range for a actual ~100lb give or take 5lb.

Got tired of duct taping the sand tubes I buy for weight in rear of my vehicle or buying new bags because the duct tape eventually fails. It was a little work to fill them with sand, one time. But I am looking forward to years of trouble free usage.

I had triple velcro bags that came with my sand bag but they ripped. So far this bag has help up with sand and no issues. Filling the bag takes a little time but not a big deal. I used a funnel

I can highly recommend this product. I have used these bags, filled with water, to help weigh down my outdoor telescope tripod frames. They have been outiside in mountain temperatures ranging from 12F through to 100f and have never leaked. I put white towels over them in the hotter months to help keep the black plastic cool. The local lizaards love this and sveral have nested under the bags!! In winter I put 6oz of salt in the bags mixed with the water to help stop freezing. They all still froze and were solid ice inside during the coldest months - but - they have never leaked, and that's all that matters to me. Really great, well made product and for $13 each they are fantastic value, IMHO. I hope that helps your purchsing decisions.

i put sand inside this for my sand bag workouts. it keeps it from getting messy and getting sand everywhere. it works very well. you will need a funnel when pouring the sand in slowly. too fast and it will clog up and won’t pour into the open spout. took longer than i wanted to fill up with sand but worth it!

I love the fact you can fill it to your liking. With water or sand. Great for working out and easy to carry. One thing I wish it had was straps maybe removable ones. That way if you want to lift it up with your hands to workout your upper body you can. Great value for the price.

It works well in that it will definitely hold water. It didn't leak for as long as I had the bags I ordered. It makes for a great workout. However, this rubbery material gives off a very strange, kind of chemical smell, which kind of reminds me of pee, but that's not exactly an accurate description. It's just the closest thing I could think of comparing the smell to. It's not quite as bad as a real urine smell, but I did find it offensive, and what is worse is that the smell clings to the material it sits on or near, especially fabric. I had to throw out the small wooden bin I stored it in, because I couldn't get the smell out, even after I washed it with baking soda.
