I use this block to remove rust from the screwdriver and a couple of knives that had tarnish and rust. And took it almost Completely off, very quickly.

I bought the sanding Block to clean up my garden tools with and it worked great! I would add this to your tool care and maintenance kit. It’s easy to use and you can use it on a number of different different items

I'm not willing to sand and sand for results. Maybe more grit needed for abused garden tools.

I purchased this to clean garden clippers/shears. It took a bit of elbow grease (I'm 65 and not as strong as I used to be) but cleaned up the clippers.

I bought this to clean dirt and rust off my gardening tools. It does a nice job. I like how it molds it the shape of the tool needing to be cleaned.

Very happy with this tool cleaner. It took the surface rust right off my cast iron drill press table and my wife said it cleaned up the blades on her pruning shears. It is kind of like a sanding sponge but it is heavy and made of rubber and does not wear out because it is impregnated thoroughly with the carborundum so that it remains effective even as the surface wears away. I got the medium grit but I like it so much that I am going to buy the set of 3 (high, med., low) which are offered at a bargain price.

Cleans sappy garden tools, darn good rust eraser. easy to use: hold in hand then scrub. Is it sheer (see above)? Not hardly. I have several other Sandflex scrubbers/rust erasers they all work well no complaint... but watch out it might take the chrome off your trailer hitch.
