This is my first set of sanding blocks like these and I ordered to work on my classic restoration project. I'm not quite far enough along to actually put them to work on my car, so I tested on some random scrap, just to get the feel and see how well I could stay consistent with them. Just working on that scrap I already have more confidence in the job I'll be able to do as soon as I can get to that stage. These are comfortable and stable, making them really easy to work with.

What a nice variety of sanding blocks for the price. These are a nice addition to my DIY auto shop. I have been improvising my sanding blocks for way too long. These do the trick for a variety of surface contours.

Sanding blocks are just the same as the other name brand. They're made of good material comfortable in your hand and stay straight when you sand. The same paper sticks to them nicely. They do the advertised job. They're very durable and will last a long time. Great price for a whole set.Well done!

Sometimes a palm sander, DA or circular sander just doesn't fit the job. Hand sanding with the sandpaper simply wrapped around your hand will quickly leave groves on the sanded surface from the uneven pressure of your fingers. You may not think you'll see those but as soon as you lay down your paint, you will.These sanding blocks (and pretzel roll) easily disperses the applied force giving you a much more even finished surface. I've used other dome shaped ones with the slits on the end to hold the sandpaper - they were a disaster.This set has a grip quality that even when wet sanding from a bucket of water, the sandpaper or emery cloth stays in place. They may slip a little when applying a lot of force, but at that point you're grinding, not sanding.When my creativity is flourishing and I'm feeling the car body as I'm working on my masterpiece, these blocks flat work! I'm not fighting them as I use them. The flexibility of them actually helps focus my attention to detail as I move them around in my hand and over the surface.I like tools that work. I like tools that become a part of me as I complete whatever job. And most of all I love bang-for-the-buck.This set checks all the boxes.
