This is excellent after having back surgery. This gave me the support sturdiness and a comfortable feeling when I was taking a shower that I wasn’t gonna fall. I highly recommend.

I really like this shower chair and experienced none of the quality problems others had. Product was manufactured In China and was well wrapped for shipment. All parts were wrapped in protective plastic and the entire unit was shrink-wrapped to the size of the shipping box.The design is very functional for my 5’ 7” body. THE IMPORTANT MEASUREMENT FOR ME WAS THE WIDTH OF THE LEGS AS IT IS TO GO INTO MY 1989 KOHLER BATHTUB.This is a standard 5’ tub, What I didn’t realize is the tub width at the top of the tub is not the width at the bottom. The bathtub gradually curves in. The 20 inch measurement given in the product listing does not take into consideration the rubber feet which hold the chair in place. I DO NOT THINK THIS CHAIR WOULD BE USABLE WITHOUT THE RUBBER PADS. For this chair to be used, (stock) you would need 21 “ to 23” of flat space. This changes depending on how high you are extending the legs. I am using mine at the bottom leg length (17 to 18) and shaving. (Tapering) the rubber feet on the curved side.) I am also, length-wise in the last hole. This makes the seat height 16 inches above the tub floor.I am very pleased with the quality of the unit would buy it again, BUT, the product specs need to be accurately described. Also, other reviewers have mentioned that the seat screws are too long and when cranked tight they extend through the seat cushion. I had the same problem with mine. The other reviewer bought replacement screws of proper length, however my solution was to add a thick enough washer to allow the screw to be tightened short of piercing through the seat cushion. Be careful, when inserting the screw THE SECOND TIME, in order to use the previous threads created by the first insertion, turn the screw by hand until you feel it running in the track created by the first insertion, then tighten until the washers are snug.My research of these chairs showed that there are so many variables changing the width of the base in the tub that apparently none of the manufacturers includes the rubber feet when measuring. This chair’s description of width at 20 inches was the shortest for this design of chair, that I looked at.For less than $50.00, I’ll give it 4 stars, taking one off for not covering the base width adequately.

This sturdy shower chair would get a much higher rating from me, but the black rubber feet leave black rings on the shower floor that are nearly impossible to remove. Love the product; dislike the work it creates.

Let me start that the concept of the chair is great. That extra gaps to clean is awesome. Material dries off probably within an hour unless you hand dry it.As of this review we have not noticed any rust on the legs of the chair which is good.So far it can hold a person of 200+ lbs.Now the negative -When the chair arrived the legs were missing the pins to lock in the desired height for the chair on two of the legs. We had to wait for the replacement to arrive to be able to use it. When we got the new chair we noticed that all four legs were off in length. This made the chair wobbly and super unstable. So we had to compare the legs for both chairs and try them out until the chair was somewhat stable enough. For the price it’s not bad but this company really needs to do some quality control on the product when it comes out of factory. Starting to understand why there’s a frequent return badge.

I had a chair we used as potty chair, shower chair etc for my 90 yo Dad-double broken hip x2. It was big and typical potty chair. It had a slick surface both the lid and seat and I did not feel he was comfortable nor safe using it in the shower. We sufficed until I decided to get him a better chair for the shower. I do NOT regret purchasing this chair and wished I had gotten it initially! It has drainage holes and a valley to help him easily reach his bottom for cleaning. It feels safe for him to maneuver in the shower and its slimmer but seems to be larger than the chair we purchased from rehab. We have a half walk in shower/glass enclosed and this fits perfectly through the opening and inside the shower. It looks better too! It has a back and arms for safety and getting up. Shower time is stressful as we have to be very careful but this helps ease my mind that he’s a bit safer using this chair. He won’t slip or fall from using it as the seat, arms and back have texture. It’s much more comfortable for him sitting on during shower time. He can easily clean parts of his body that normally he’d be sitting on. It is easy to clean and keep clean. Assembly instructions are thorough and the chair took very little time to put together-less than 30 minutes. Would absolutely recommend this chair!

My dad absolutely loves this upgrade from the all plastic Drive shower chair! The easily adjustable height height and particularly the higher handles make it much easier for him to get up and down. He also likes that his "business" has a safe and pain free place to go when he's sitting. It's super sturdy and took all of 5 minutes from opening the box to fully assembled and in the tub. The seat is a little bigger than his old one but doesn't get in the way of closing the curtain, all of which he very much enjoys. He's been raving about it and wishes he had let me get it for him sooner. I highly recommend this to anyone in the market for a shower chair!
