Nice looking chair, but I suggest sitting it outside for a few days before putting it into the house. It needs to air out because it kinda smells like pee out of the box.

It is beautiful and sturdy! Fits perfect in my shower. Looks like an actual piece of quality furniture. Make sure to read the instructions carefully, a little difficult to understand. Great quality for the money.

It was easier to put together than I thought at first glance, to be honest. We aren't using this in a shower, but rather in our bedroom as a dressing chair and it works fantastic for that. It's very sturdy and seems to be made of decent quality materials. It's not too big, just the right size for that, and we've taken to storing our house slippers on the shelf underneath. I am sure in the summer we'll switch that to slides, but for now - it's great!

I love the quality of the wood. It looks great in my shower. There a two suggestions:1. The height of the base of the chair could be higher2. The seat could be a little wider.NO COMPLAINTS! Love my chair

This is a very atrractive and well designed shower chair. Made of Acacia wood, the grain is beautiful. Assembly of the chair was quite straightforward and the screws all seated easily. Care should be taken to note which direction the legs and other parts need to face (based on the counterbore indentations). My husband and I had to reassemble a couple of parts because the legs were facing the wrong way. Call it asembler error, but we also accidently used a couple long screws in the wrong holes (they went in and seated). These hiccups were not the fault of the chair design. The instruction sheet seems adequate, but could be a bit more detailed. I personally appreciate it when companies place numbered or lettered stickers on the parts to help guide us through the process. These were not labeled. Once assembled, the chair was sturdy. This is a substantial piece of furniture. The backrest is a nice feature, and it is positioned in such a way that it doesn't throw off the center of balance. Some chairs get "tippy," but this one is solid and secure. The chair also boasts adjustable feet which seem to be composed of some type of rubber material. This means that is should not slip or slide on a wet surface. I have used a number of wooden shower items, and this certainly compares favorably to the rest. Plus, this shower bench is a tremendous value at its current price of $59.97. Many of the other chairs I've used are more than twice the price of this chair. Overall, I was impressed. 5 stars.
