These spigot studs are as good a quality as any brand I have. They're sturdy, solid, and are well-machined - no burrs, etc. The little drawstring bad is a really nice little bonus -- something you appreciate if you're used to wrangling all the little bits & bobs and doohickey flotsam generated when you deal with A/V gear.I was excited to get these as I wondered if such an item exists. The round/cylindrical spigot studs have an innate disadvantage -- a set screw against a convex surface is never going to be as secure as a set screw against a flat surface. So, in theory, spigots with flat sides are the perfect solution. In theory. In reality, however, there's no way of ensuring where those flat sides will be. In my case, I wanted to use these to hold my LED light panels. They're flat panels that swivel in an metal H-bracket. If the H-bracket isn't lined up on a horizontal plane, then the light panel isn't positioned such that I can point the light up or down. That's a huge problem. Having the light panel swivel side to side or at some weird diagonal angle is useless. That said, these are quality spigots. If your application needs a flat surface and it doesn't matter which plane that flat surface lines up with, these these are the product for you.
