My eyes aren't what they used to be so I thought this sounded like what I needed. Tried one and it worked great!

I like the case. I do not like the needles at all. The needles are way too small and not so easy to get the thread to go in. I tried one and the thread end broke off very easily. Also the thread end grabs certain fabrics and pulls the fabric thread out.

I first used a self threading needle when I did not need help threading a needle, but today I am very thankful to have them. They do make life a bit easier and less frustrating when having to thread a needle when your vision is not what it was. So I purchased these to use to hem slacks that were not heavy weight or strong fabric. These needles worked fine for that purpose. I like the fact a needle case came with the needles. It is a way to help protect the eye of the self threading needles. The case was easy to use. I know self threading needles seem to be more prone to breakage than normal needles. I doubt these are any different than the others. Time will tell. Overall, these needles were a good purchase.

I have been threading needles for over 50 years and to then to find that I couldn’t was very difficult to handle. Finding this product that helps with threading a needle was so exciting to find!!! Now I can go back to, hand quilting again!

I found that the thread was easy to insert in the eye, but since the eye doesn't completely close, I also found that the thread slipped out as I was using the needle. Could be just the way I hand sew, I don't know.

the case is lovely and well made. the needles work better with thicker threads. thin thread keeps getting out of the the needle during sewing which is very frustrating!

This is perfect for someone that has a hard time finding the hole of the needle...works so well, and i like that wooden case for them. Well made!

I'm delighted with this needle case. It is beautifully smooth and even with no place whatsoever that could snag thread or cloth. The inside is equally smooth, and the brass screw fitting is perfectly aligned so that, again, nothing catches thread or cloth. The decoration is nicely done (I'm assuming laser etched), deep enough to be easily distinguished from the backgroud and shallow enough not to weaken the sides. It was less expensive than the one it's replacing and yet much better.

Takes a bit of trial and error to find the right side but these needles do thread easily. I have not have them unthread, as others have stated, but use them more for mending than everyday use. If you need a needle, this one fits the purpose for those eye site challenged.

I had tried another brand of self threading needles where the thread goes in from the top of the eye. Easy to thread, but if you have to tug the needle a bit going through your project, it can easily come unthreaded. THESE however, thread from along the side of the eye and work so much better! Glad I took a chance on a mother set, these will be my go to now.

So much easier to thread! The thread does slip out a bit more easily but it's so much easier to rethread so I don't mind at all.

That's about it. The case is sturdy, very nice and smooth to have. The needles not so much. Even though it's a great idea the thread jump off the needles at times. Also at times the needle gets stuck between the opening of the eye on the material. Wasting my time to input the thread and damaging my material!
