This is an easy to assemble power tool. The saw portion can be either straight or at a 45 degree angle to cut with. The teeth on the chain are sharp. There is some weight to the assembled saw so fully extended it can be a little heavy. The battery powered saw running is pretty quiet. It comes with the battery and the charging plug. This will help remove a lot of lost tree limbs from this past winter. I do recommend this tool for your collection, whether on the tree or on the ground this makes quick clean up of tree debris.

This pole saw come with everything you need to put it in operation except the oil, you can purchase the oil at Walmart. The instruction was written well and I had no issue unfolding this saw into operation. The functionality of the saw was very functional. It extended for smoothly to it fully length, and well balanced. I tested it on a limb approximately 3 inches in diameter. It had good torque and had no issue cutting the limb for a small battery-operated saw. It is a lot better than a manual saw. This would be a good saw for the home owner that uses a manual saw or a manual shear.

This cordless chainsaw feels very sturdy and is well made. I like that it extends quite long (up to 15 feet) and is more than enough for the tree in my front yard. I do wish it were a little lighter weight though as fully extended, it is pretty heavy in weight. It cuts loose tree branches and makes my tree trimming projects a bit easier. I previously used the mini chainsaws and this is a nice upgrade.

I’ve picked up this saw in early January and now I have chance to use it as spring is here.We have many branches in our back yard that needs triming each spring and we have been using manual pruner and hoping this will make the job easier.Assembly and adjustment is required but it’s straight forward.It would have been nice to include a small bottle of start-up chainsaw and bar oil as I had to buy 32oz of bottle at local hardware store.I was able to cut good size branches without any issue, but I wished that "Switch Lock" and "On/Off" switch was ergonomically laid out as it's bit difficult for someone with small hand to press and hold "Switch Lock" and press "On/Off" switch with one hand to start the saw.Need to be careful when its fully extend as it can be quite top heavy and easy to lose a balance.While it’s not super heavy but it does have a hefty weight and it could be tiring on your arms after a while.I was able to use the saw for about half hour per charge.I wished that spare battery was included in the package to allow an alternate use for longer operation .I’m not even sure if there’s comparable battery is commercially available.

We own 10 acres with about half of the land being wooded and have a lot of trees in our front and back yard as well. Every time we have really high winds or wet heavy snow, we end up having snapped branches that are still attached to the trees but dangling. In the past I would have to get a ladder out and climb it with a saw. I never felt safe, and it was a pain! This pole saw makes this so much easier. I just take this out, reach it up to the branch (being careful not to stand directly under the branch!) and cut it off. It's very easy to use and works great on small branches. You're not going to cut a tree down with this, but that's not what it's intended to do.

This is a great tool, especially if you need a chainsaw but don't want to invest in one for smaller branches. Great alternative, and it is so versatile. As stated in the description is has an auto lube feature, but keep in mind that it doesn't come with any lubrication oil, so you will need to have that before you can use. This was perfect for the bushes in our yard. They are right next to our fence, making it difficult to reach, but this tool was perfect to reach some tall branches that we wanted to keep from hanging over to our neighbor's side. It works like a regular chainsaw, but since it's on the end of pole, it does get harder to control the more extended it is, and the heavier it feels. Overall, it met our needs and is really compact and easy to use.
