If you are in the STONE world, and you came across this product to resurface, or you want to create some thing beautiful from a remnant, a friend gave you, whatever the inspiration, it is important to know that you can achieve a good shine, with these three pads. Certain natural stone materials, that are denser than others, may need additional pads to achieve the sheen you want. Ex;Crystallo Quartzite ( Not Quartz). WATER: it is not a suggestion, it is a necessity, it will also add longevity to your pad. PRESSURE: allow the pad to float across the surface, move the polisher frequently, careful not to put strenuous pressure on it. It will cause you to seem to be working faster, but by pressing, you are not going to have a straight an even edge. RPM’s: no matter what you think about cranking it up, cranking it up, causes vibrations that will end in stress fractures, it will burn your pad out, if you are polishing an engineering stone, the heat may even burn that.** If you have a variable speed, leave it low. Nothing will cause more agony to your ego, than being hit by a pad moving at 11,000 RPMs. You will be buying pads every day too.
