Bought this to cut 3/8 inch stone and porcelain. Sigma advertises it as able to cut these materials up to 1/2”. Didn’t work for me. It cuts 1/4 ceramic just fine, but barely scores anything harder/thicker. Returned it. The tool itself seems very heavy duty and solid: maybe the cutting wheel just isn’t sharp. Also, packaging was very poor: one 3x8 inch piece of styrofoam and a zip tie to cushion/hold down the handle, plus a couple of sheets of brown butcher paper. The tool rattled around in a generic box (not manufacturers custom packaging or padding)
