Riutilizzando un vecchio ampli alpine 3550, avevo il problema delle masse. Installato all’ingresso rca dell’ampli non ho più nessun disturbo. Non installatelo all’uscita della sorgente, ma all’ingresso dell’ampli. Buona musica a tutti

I had that annoying humming sound coming from my door speakers when I pushed the gas peddle. These seemed to work, also most likely need to upgrade my alternator. But from the cost I’m happy

My son has a pretty substantial sound system in his car. Recently he got a newer version of the same car and when he installed the system in the new vehicle, he noticed some background hiss and hum. It wasn't horrible...but definitely annoying. We figured there was a grounding issue somewhere but...we would have no idea on how to trace and correct such a thing. This was an easy fix. We added this ground loop noise isolator to the system and all unwanted interference was gone, without any noticeable change to the audio quality. Very happy with the product and performance.

This product will knock your bass down by at least 50%. Wouldn’t recommend.

I use a professional power amplifier to drive my large home theater subwoofer, and when I connect the RCA from the amplifier to my receiver, it creates a ground loop between the grounded professional amplifier and the ungrounded Marantz receiver.I was able to minimize that by connecting the signal ground of the QSC pro amp to the signal ground of the Marantz, but it didn't completely get rid of it. This ground loop presented itself as a slight hiss that got quieter with the signal grounds connected, but it wasn't perfect, and it felt a bit dangerous on the expensive receiver.Putting this ground loop isolator between the two completely eliminated the hiss and as far as I can tell, didn't reduce the signal enough to make a large difference. I'm definitely happy that this was able to remove that hiss and let me continue to use the professional amplifier with my receiver. This is also much cheaper than trying to solve this with something at the ground level, like power cleaning and isolating boxes.I'll also be keeping this in mind when I work on the multiple amp system in my truck. In the past I had been plagued with alternator, wine and other audio issues originating from ground loop problems in my older cars, but I haven't come across that in the truck yet. If I do I know what to pick up. This work great and a small enough to fit easily with the rest of your car audio install.

Two stars because it might work in your system, it didn't in mine. .Perhaps this is a fault of my system rather than the isolator, but I got it so I could block a 60hz buzz coming from an audio component. It didn't work. The buzz stays no matter what I plug the source into. (so far, mixer, DAC, amp, pre-amp) So- your mileage may vary.

I connected this to my car stereo amp, after the head unit, and didn't really notice much difference - the sound quality hasn't got worse, which was my first worry when adding extra components to a system. My system didn't suffer too much from interference so perhaps I'm trying to fix something that wasn't a big issue. I have two potential power outputs from the battery, to allow more than one amp to be driven, so when I add another component to the system, I will keep this handy if I can't use the same grounding point.

As a retired electrical engineer, I enjoy doing a bit of testing when I get a device like this. Basically, this thing isolates the input from the output so that DC current can't pass through. Blocking DC is how you stop a ground loop. It's impossible to block DC current without also attenuating some low frequency content so I wanted to see how much signal distortion is introduced by this thing.First, I used my trusty multimeter to check for DC continuity and found the input and output are totally isolated from each other in terms of DC current. So, if you have a ground loop problem this device will solve your problem. Some reviewers complain that this device causes audio distortion. To check this, I measured its frequency response, which compares the input and output signals over a range of frequencies (2 Hz to 20 kHz). The result is shown in the attached picture (orange line is the input, blue line is the output; 0 dB corresponds to a 1 V test signal). The blue line shows that frequencies below 50 Hz, including DC, are blocked, and frequencies above 50 Hz are passed without distortion. In other words, using this device has practically no effect on audio quality, unless of course you're interested in frequencies below 50 Hz (and few of us are).I've had minor noise issues with my audio system for years, so I thought I'd give this thing a try. Did it solve my noise issue? Sadly, no. Since this device only cures ground loop issues, I conclude that my noise is not due to a ground loop but comes from somewhere else.In summary, I think this is a good device. If you buy it and it solves your problem, then you had a ground loop and now it's gone. If it doesn't solve your problem (like what happened to me), then you have a different noise problem. Good luck!

This ground noise isolator did not work very well. After connecting the noise isolator as instructed, I coud still hear the electrical buzzing in the background. Though this did eliminate some electrical buzzing, it did not completely eliminate it.

I have a project that I built that takes audio from an Echo Flex via the mini stereo jack and plays it on the amplified speaker of an old-school animated fish, the one that sings. The problem seems to be and sounds like a ground loop, with a low level hum in the audio background. I hoped this product would isolate and eliminate it.Unfortunately, this device didn’t have any effect on that hum, which may have a different causeIt may work well with a stereo system input in a home or car stereo or PA system, so I’m only taking one star away. It appears to be well made. The package included the isolator with attached short RCA connectors and a well-written brief user guide. (See pic) The RCA connectors are male on one end and female on the other end. The isolation is non-directional, according to the manual, either end can be used as inputI hope this information has been helpful to you.——-This review is for:Smof Ground Loop Noise Isolator, RCA Audio Noise Filter for Car Audio/Home Stereo System, Portable and Lightweight, Ground Loop Isolator with Dual Channel
