First, I have the permanent SnapPads installed on my 5th wheel RV and I really like them. I ordered these to get a little more height and versatility. These leveling pads are very well made with high quality materials. They are heavy duty and should last a very long time. They can be used individually or can be stacked for more height. In order to stack them, you simply remove the top layer of the bottom pad and the top pad will fit snuggly into the bottom pad 'locking' them together. They also have a built in carrying handle which is a nice touch. It is the design of the locking method that needs improvement. They simply have a raised pattern that locks them together. When using them individually, they provide a rubber pad that covers the raised pattern. When carrying (by the built in handle) or storing these pads, there is nothing that holds the top layer (cover) into place and it flops around. It would be far better if the top layer snapped onto the main body of the pad. These are very nice, durable pads. I also like that they are made with recycled rubber. I just wish the top layer had a method to snap it to the main body.

IMHO these are the bee's knee's of leveling pads. Super heavy duty. And also pretty damn heavy.Let me start out with the fact that my rig is heavy. Close to 30k pounds not counting my TOAD rolling down the highway. And I have 4 hydraulic jacks (Equalizer is the brand). These jacks come standard with a 10" jack pad but I have recently upgraded to heavy duty 12" ones for a variety of reasons. Had I been using these Stakpads, that upgrade would not have been needed. The white plastic parts have rubber adhered on the bottom. The top and bottom are designed to "stack" together as you can see in the pics. Each pad also comes with a topper which has the stacking pattern on the bottom and is smooth on the top. So only one topper is needed per stack....but remember sometimes you'll have one, sometimes you'll have 4 in a stack. So this gives you options, yet still gives you a consistent smooth surface for your jack pad. When I said above they are heavy duty I meant it. They are 3 to 3.5 pounds each. This ain't no Lynx lever folks. It is obvious they can handle the loads of todays large diesel pushers or super-C motorhomes. Probably good for those monster toy-haulers and mobile 5th wheel mansions as well.I camp in my heavy rig, down forest roads in meadows. Sadly meadows are rarely level. I need about 8 of these to replace my hand made 12"x12" wooden blocks. By the way, those wooden blocks had a strong tendency to split from the weight of my rig. No way these will split.Stack em 1 high just to spread the weight of your load. Or stack em 4-5 (more?) high to decrease the amount your leveling system has to extend to get you level. These are going to get some good use by me, and I plan on adding more than the 2 that came in this kit to the collection. They carry a price tag so will spread out the spend.I have tried them all. Believe me. Closest I have found to these are outrigger pads. These are a bit more expensive than outrigger pads of similar size, but these stack securely. Outrigger pads aren't designed to stack, although you can place them on top of each other. For RV usage, I'd take these any day.My ask of SnapPads? Make us some bigger ones. Say 15" or 18" across that are backwards compatible so I could stack these smaller pads on those larger ones. Just an idea.....

I've used several different types of levelling systems for my RV, and these are certainly among the best. I instantly liked them for their utility, solid construction and ease of use. These came in a set of two pads with rubberized material bonded to the bottom for non-skid on pavement and a removeable rubberized pad on the top. Each pad is 12x12 as stated and with the top pad in place, they are each 2 inches tall. They stack nicely without movement and provide a very stable platform for tires or jacks. They're remarkably heavy, which gives me confidence that they won't buckle under a load. The handle molded into each pad is a nice touch as well. You would need several of these under jacks for certain sites and I would definitely recommend getting 4 total pads at the very least. I use the red Anderson buckets under my stabilizer jacks and the feet of the jacks overhang the buckets. With a Snap Pad on the top of each, I get a much more stable platform and no more concern about shifting as the RV settles. I don't give 5 stars easily to products, but these really couldn't be any better. They work, they're worth the asking price and I can't think of anything that would improve them.

Solid and rugged, easy to use - work well. These were surprisingly heavy out of the box. I could tell right away they were high quality. The black pads are super strong and seem to be made from recycled tires. They are wide and don’t slip out of the place that wood often can. They are working well to prevent sinking in the spring rain we’ve had.Overall, excellent heavy duty leveling pads.

I've been looking at these snap pads for a long time and finally got the chance to order them. As other reviewers have mentions, these pads are the cream of the crop, have some decent weight to them and are made of high-quality material. A top pad is provided for each off the main pads which make for a nice flat surface. I only wish these top pads would more securely click into place as then tend to unhook during transport. Also, the price is expensive IMO but most likely worth it in the end. I really won't want to "cheap-out" when it comes to making sure my RV is firmly planted on the ground. Other than that, Snap Pads are perfect. Def. recommend.
