5 minute install. Sturdy, level, strong. I did add some JB Weld around the snap ring to ensure it stays in place based on other reviews. Promise to update if it craps out, but I doubt it will. Their “upgrade” must have done the trick.

Hook the trailer to your vehicle to get the weight off the old jack or jack it up with a floor jack. With the proper tools, you can have this jack installed in literally less than 5min. Once installed, the jack works great. The cranking ratio is fast enough that you aren't just cranking and cranking to have it barely move, but also to a pace that allows for fine control and adjustments. I have had this on my trailer out in the weather for over 6 months with little to no cover and it looks and acts almost brand new. Barely any signs of aging or weathering and it just takes a small dot of oil about once a month right at the handle so it doesn't squeak.I worked at an RV and trailer body shop as a shop Foreman and this jack is just what you need for the price that you pay for it. It lifts my trailer, with sometimes 2 race cars in it, no problem and it doesn't wreck your shoulder to do it.

Ordered the tongue jack for my boat as a replacement. The one purchased is a two wheeled jack and we figured it'd be sturdy. Upon putting weight on the jack, the boat sways horribly and I doubt this jack will support the movement or loading of the boat while it's not hooked up to the vehicle. The jack tilts to one side which I don't care for. There is a lot of play in the swivel...way too much. The welds on this jack are small and appear to be inferior. Quality is not there. I would assume that this will not last throughout the summer.
