I liked the fact it was silk and became transparent when the glue was applied. It stayed where you put it and kept nails strong while growing out .

I bought both the fiberglass and silk wraps to see which is better and the silk wrap is the best BY FAR. The fiber glass is super thin, unravels easily, and is hard to handle-- threw it away. The silk wrap is easier to put on / lay down on your fingernail, and is practically undetectable when you put a builder gel or hard gel product on top. I'm not a nail tech and I was able to easily repair a nail that broke across my nail bed! Prior to this, I was using the tea bag method. It worked fine for small nail breaks, but the silk wrap is so much better for all types of nail repairs!

I couldn’t use it. Or rather, I couldn’t use it well. I got it after watching James Taylor show how he used it to fortify his strumming fingernails but my results kept coming out terrible. I just didn’t like the look and that the wraps would peel up from the sides of my nail. User error? I’m almost sure. But not really worth my continued effort for the results I was after. Your experience will surely be better. Maybe.

This wrap roll is quite thin. It’s perfect for nail repairs. I needed to repair a split about one third of the way across my nail. I used the nail glue with the brush (from Amazon) to apply the wrap and it worked perfectly. I used two layers of the wrap for added strength (with the glue in between the layers). Just cut the size you need. I did my own gel manicure over it and I was able to cure my nails without issue. It’s been about 4 days and no problems so far, even afterbumping my repaired nail a few times.

I am a professional manicurist. Half of my clientele is silk the other half is gel and acrylic. This silk is great.. I have worked with many other silks in my past. I buy in bulk on a roll if I can. It lasts on my client's nails when I do a full set or fill. That's the main reason I continue to buy this Brand.Thank You

As the headline of this review says, this is the best nail wrap for classical guitar players I've yet to come across. I have crap nails. They break and wear like they're made out of chalk. I was using Swiss Silks, but they're not strong enough. They slow down the wear, but do not stop it. These do. I use four layers, but the material is thin enough that the final product is still quite thin. And, man, it sure is strong. It files well, and holds a very smooth edge. I play three+ hours a day, and after three weeks, there's been no wear! Long-term results are still unknown, but it looks very good.
