I was offered the opportunity to test these new sensors, so I installed them next to the older model Wuloo sensors to see if they were any better. My older Wuloo system has be up for a few years now and is excellent with great sensor range and only a few false alarms.The new sensors were very easy to setup and install and it helped that they came pre-configured. Much easier that the older units. I liked the fact that you didn't have to take the unit apart to set dip switches and the sensitivity. This is done by a convenient waterproof flat on the bottom of the sensor unit, a big plus.I had set the sensors to max sensitivity to cover our large driveway and did manage to get some false alarms on a very windy day, so I set them to medium and that solved the problem. At the medium setting the new sensors do not have the range of the older sensors at medium setting however that did eliminate the false alarm problem and they do cover the driveway.The new units are solid, well designed, well-built and function just as advertised. We have had snow, freezing temps and a huge amount of rain during the testing period and that did not affect the performance of the sensors.

Alarm seems to work well. I added a piece of PVC pipe over sensor as recommended by another purchaser to limit angle of sensing. This worked well to minimize false alarms. I did find that programming alarm sound was somewhat difficult.

These driveway alarm sensors hold a charge for a long time, and the receiver has several different tones to choose from. It functions as expected and works well. Four stars just because it is a little difficult to get set up out of the box, but otherwise performs well.

We've been using a Woloo driveway alert system with 2 sensors since 2019 and have been very happy with how it has works/worked. After 5-years one of the sensors had been malfunctioning and I was considering a new system. Turns out that Woloo has released a newer system that meets my original requirements which are as follows: we have 2 driveways so need 2 sensors with a minimum of 500 foot range, must be weather proof, operate wirelessly, powered by battery with solar charging, minimum of installation difficulty, and cost under $100 dollars total. Being unobtrusive would be nice, but I was not concerned with hiding it. We live in a very rural area. The Wuloo system meets my requirements. And the new system received a couple of weeks ago looks a little better, the sensors and base are slightly smaller, and the sensor mounting is simpler overall. Thankyou Woloo for shrinking and simplifying the base unit and improving the sensor mounting. One no longer has to unscrew the sensor mount and remove the sensor's back to change the sensitivity settomg. A++ Woloo, this is a real time saver. Additionally you can now alter numerous settings by simply opening a rubber cover on the sensor. FYI regarding initial setup, as stated in the owners manual, you really must have the base unit and the sensors together in the same room to for the initial setup. Also be sure to carefully read the owner manual (Quick Start Guide). And do expect to experiment trying to get the alarm tone setting that you desire. I don't think the guide explains it clearly enough, but I did manage to successfully complete the setup through trial and error. I probably spent 30-45 minutes overall, I took my time because I was trying different tones etc, clearing the memory and starting over several times.Overall I'm very satisfied with how it works. I'm really happy with the new mounting system and the fact that the sensors now include a USB-C jack so you can easily pre-charge the batteries to 100% before installing. As for reliability - time will tell. Our previous Woloo driveway alert system suffered one sensor failure after a few years and Woloo provided a replacement at no cost even though it was definitely long out of warranty. That's as good as customer service can get. Oh yeah, before I forget - the old system had a 24-hour clock which just isn't needed since it doesn't record a date and time of and alarm and we sure didn't need another clock. The new system DOES NOT include a clock - HURRAY!In the interest of full disclosure: Woloo offered to reimburse me for the cost of a new system if I'd order one of the new systems and install it. I did and they did their part. Very impressed. Again.I've attached a few pictures of the install. FYI - my long-term review of the older system is on Amazon dated June 15, 2023 under my name Tom W.MISC: I have a possible suggestion about powering the new base unit. Add a jack for external power to the base unit, but retain the ability to directly plug the base into AC power. Currently as designed it must be plugged directly into a wall outlet. If you want the unit at eye level you either need and extension cord, a power strip or and outlet higher up on the wall. Where I placed the base there is only a floor level (down low) outlet. It would be really nice if the 120vac prongs extending out the back of the unit could be folded up when not used, and then be able to use an external power adapter. Ok, done typing.
