It's only used for striking other tooling so face quality, etc., Doesn't much matter. Simple non-ergomatic handle, works more than fine Ford intended purpose.

It’s honestly a really nice hammer. The head is well forged and finished, the wood is rather strong for its size. The only complaint I’d have it that the head doesn’t have a metal wedge connecting it to she shaft, it might have a wood wedge in there, I really can’t tell. Regardless, that’s an easy fix and the shaft is wedged in there tight so it might not even need fixing.
