SPANK PROPRIETARY BELNDED ENRICHED ALLOY.
Super-6 Aluminum is a specially blended, highly magnesium-silicon enriched, work hardened alloy that offers the perfect mix of hardness, yield, fatigue life, and a superior ultimate tensile strength to standard 6 series alloys. It is ideal for the creation of thin walled, super stiff handlebars. Through recent adoption of Super-6 materials and other enriched blends, SPANK's SPIKE, and OOZY handlebars are now strong, and show greater resistance to deformation than ever before.
3D CNC PRECISION BENDING.
SPANK went the extra mile in our handlebar production facility by investing in automated Three Dimensional CNC Bending machines, which offer better symmetry and consistency, and more importantly limit material structural damage during the bending process. The precision of 3D CNC Bending in a single fixture allows SPANK to optimize our designs. The process eliminates the need for heavy grinding process, making our bars lighter, stronger, and safer.
MICRO GRAIN REFINEMENT PROCESSED ALLOYS.
Dual XGT technology tapers our bars from the thickest area at the bar clamping zone, slowly and gradually through the bend zones, to the thinnest areas at the control zones and back to the thicker reinforced barend zones, or “Impact Ends”.
This precision process eliminates stress zones where breaks can occur. SPANK has utilized FEA (Finite Element Analysis), laboratory, and rigorous real world testing to optimize the spread of material to where needed to withstand the specific forces at work in each zone, while offering better safeguard against crashes than ever before.
EXTREME GRADUAL TAPER TECHNOLOGY.
Processes such as extrusion, forging and tube drawing can increase the strength of alloy materials by reducing the grain size. SPANK uses state of the art proprietary metal forming methods which further improve grain size consistency and orientation, and significantly reduce grain size beyond that of our competitors. No other bars or rims are subjected to the number of drawing steps or level of refinement as those offered by SPANK. This leads to greater ultimate strength, toughness, and ductility ... meaning confidence, comfort and safety.

I have these bars on two bikes now and I love them. These bars help me be more comfortable on my bike with the rise and setback, I can ride for hours in comfort. They really do help take the vibration for beating up hands and wrists. They for sure are a quality made bars.

Tengo una bajada en la montaña que me encanta, pero al terminar me duelen mucho las manos y brazos, se adormecen y es muy molesto, por ese motivo suelo evitarla. Este manubrio me permite hacerla, reduce muchísimo el dolor y adormecimiento en un 80%. Excelente producto.

Vibrocore, 15R, haven't shortened the ends, not sure how long would want them yet. Paired with FUNN 80mm stem. I wanted to extend out my reach, and just a tad uplift, hence the 15R. With the Stem just a wee bit taller, not by much. Everything looks sweet.

I usually do not write reviews, but this product impressed me. These bars work! I rode my buddy's bike that had cushcore in the front. I decided to go this route to see if it would give me the same feeling, and to my surprise it did. It doesn't give you the muffled sound like cushcore does, but it gives you the softened feeling. I could definitely feel the difference the first ride, as soon as I started hitting really bumpy sections. It's hard to explain, but it just feels like your suspension gets a softer feel to it. I ride a Rockshock 35 gold RL. Not that great of a fork by the way.I ride in Las Vegas where it's basically riding in dry rock gardens all day long. I needed this.Another thing that I was impressed about was how much thicker these bars were compared to my Spank Spoon bars. It almost gives you the look of 35mm bars. More mean looking.I went down from a 60mm rise to a 50mm. To be honest, can't really feel the difference. Just in case anyone was thinking about going down 10mm. Try it out, you definitely won't regret it.

Lo de ponerle una estrella no es porque sea un mal producto, todo lo contrario es un muy buen producto, el problema está en que cuando compro un manillar de color negro y blanco quiero recibir un manillar de color negro y blanco, y no el que alguien ha decidido enviar porque le ha dado la gana. Me refiero a que algún espabilado me ha enviado un manillar de color negro con letras naranja cantoso, que no es el producto que yo he pedido. Perdí negro y blanco y algún espabilado envió negro y naranja fosforito. Para matarlos!!

I bought this to replace the stock handlebar on my Trek Allant and it turned out really nice. I had to cut down the ends a bit as it was a little long, but there are marks on the edge to help you trim it down to whatever size you desire. I have been very happy with these handlebars.
