This dough hook worked perfectly for my sourdough loaf. It worked much better than the original c shaped dough hook. It cleans up very easy

I bought this, even though I already own the "C" shape dough hook. I got this, due to reading multiple reviews online about how the spiral shape is much better for making larger batches of dough. To be honest; I don't see a big difference. If you need a dough hook, I absolutely recommend this one. But if you already have the other shape hook, then it's really not necessary (IMHO).

I looked everywhere to try and buy a bread hook for my “new-to-me” used KitchenAid but finally had to resort to buying one online. The quality was great and I couldn’t be happier!

I got this because my other hook has a tendency to have too large a gap at the bottom of the bowl, so it rolls over the dough. In reading a few of the reviews before picking this, I thought it might do better. For me though, it actually was a little shorter then the OEM hook and did not help prevent the dough hook from getting in the middle of the dough. It still works for a replacement though.
