Carb worked enough to start straight from the box. Low speed needle was off, had to adjust it so motor would rev, too lean from factory. Had to adjust the high speed needle a little richer after install, but that was all. Everything fit as original. I wish all these carb kits worked as well as this one does.

Replaced my old carb and engine starts and runs fine. Original carb had a broken off idle screw bracket. This was an exact fit with no carb adjustment necessary. Got my old Echo string trimmer idling like it should now. If you don’t want to rebuild your old carb this is an easier way to get your machine purring like new again for a fairly reasonable price.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. The first was for an Echo string trimmer which cured its start and run problems. I also have a TT-21A Power Pruner that quit running a long time ago. It appeared to use the same carb even though it’s not listed as compatible. By golly, this is exact replacement too. Bolted it on and the saw started right up. The included fuel lines, fuel and air filter, extra prime bulbs, and spark plug are value added.

If you have an old two stroke echo weedeater and it doesn't run anymore, this is a very cheap and easy fix. Replacing the gas lines can be challenging but cutting the rubber line at an of ~ 120° (see pic) will make it very easy to push through the small holes. I did have to adjust both low and high jet screws just a bit to get it perfect, but it runs like a new tool.

Installed the carburetor and other parts. Started on second or third pull. High speed needed adjustment, which was simple to do. Only difficult part was getting the rubber three holed plug installed. It is intentionally a tight fit to ensure proper operation. Used some WD40 and with a little bit of wrestling got it installed. Not unexpected as I’ve had to do this a few times on other weed eaters. Very happy with results.
