I used a USB-C DP Alt mode cable to connect my laptop to a Dell UltraSharp U2723QE, and from there, I connected a StarTech.com DisplayPort cable to another Dell UltraSharp U2723QE. Once I turned on Multi-Stream Transport (MST) on the first Dell monitor, everything worked perfectly—I was able to extend my desktop to the third monitor with no issues. Now I’ve got three screens running from just two cables, and the resolution looks great. The setup was easy, and everything has been running smoothly. I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Product being reviewed: StarTech.com 6ft DisplayPort 2.1 Cable, VESA Certified DP40 DisplayPort Cable w/UHBR10/HDR/HDCP 2.2, 8K 60Hz w/DSC 1.2aStarTech.com usually makes great computer components, and from what I can tell, this Displayport cable is no different. While it doesn't have the cutting edge version of Displayport (2.1a at the time of writing), it does support 2.1 at 40Gbps (80Gbps also exists as a standard for more bandwidth). Most people shouldn't have to worry about this spec too much, and if you do, then you know what to look for.The cable itself is a nice quality with release clips on both connectors (this isn't always standard). I have it connected to my KVM coming from my gaming computer graphics card. Works very well and I haven't noticed any issues whatsoever running at 3440x1440 at 100Hz.Recommended.

Works as expected. No issues so far. Decent quality. Good value if you can get these at or below price of others at the same length.

I recently upgraded my gaming setup with the StarTech.com 6ft DisplayPort 2.1 Cable, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors and crystal-clear details that really come to life, all thanks to its HDR10 support. One of the first things I noticed is how solid this cable feels. The latching connectors are a fantastic feature; they ensure that everything stays securely connected, even when I’m deep into a gaming session. No more worrying about accidental disconnections — it’s a relief! Plus, the cable is flexible enough to fit into tight spaces without a hassle.I haven’t experienced any signal dropouts or glitches, which is a huge plus, especially since it works perfectly with my existing DP 1.4 monitor. It’s clear to me that this cable is built to last and handle high-performance tasks. Overall, investing in this cable has been worth every penny, and I can’t imagine going back to my old setup. If you’re looking for a reliable and high-quality cable for gaming or graphic design, this one is definitely a smart choice.

I recently got a new gaming monitor, a Samsung Odyssey 34 inch curved OLED, But it only came with a HDMI cable. Being a desktop gamer, display port cables are superior in most regards. So I looked for a new cable and decided on this one.My monitor can only support Display port 1.4 but this cable is 2.1 but is also backwards compatible. I wanted to futureproof so I didn't have to by another cable every time I upgrade my GPU or monitor. I can say it works great with no lag during FPS games that I can tell. The cable is quality and thick but not super thick, so I can wrap it around my VESA mount arm to hid it.Overall, for $22.99 as of this review, I think it's a great cable and recommend this especially for future proofing. 5 stars!

Not sure how I missed this gem! Struggled with and returned two other DP 2.1 cables that were supposed to be vesa certified(I**,U**) that caused monitor blackouts. This one is Vesa certified supprting DP40 & UHBR10 standards and best of all rugged flexible construction with latch that fits snug & tight in the port. Bought two of these and both have been working flawlessly the past few weeks ..one 5k monitor w/120Hz w/10bit RGB and another 4k monitor 60hz..with NVIDIA RTX graphics card.Best in class! Highly recommend them.
