So long as you’re comfortable with some simple tools and able to follow some simple instructions with many great videos online, then you’ll be able to install this remote start. So far so good, I’ll have to see if it continues to operate properly in time.

The remote start 100% works perfectly but it is a little trickier to install than they show in the video because you will have to access your BCM module inside the dash but with patience and taking off a few pieces of trim it can be done within an hour.

Two bolts and the gas lever part comes off , the panel just pulls off one bolt to remove BCM the wire harness is color coded , plug in three more connectors and your left with fitting the BCM back into the hole where it came from and you’re done. ✅ works great.

This starter works well. No complaints from my daughter-in-law (was a gift). Installing it was a bear. The directions with illustrations and photos were okay, but not great. It never seems to look exactly like they show. I had a difficult time getting a couple of the connectors off and then the new ones into place. As for working on it with the board ouside of the vehicle... absolutely unable to figure out how to get it out. Anyway, since it has been a few months and no complaints, will let it go. If there is a problem, I will.be back to comment.

It’s a little tough to cram everything back into the dash and honestly that’s what I did, I crammed it in. I didn’t secure the module or zip tie anything.I figure it’s so crammed in there, all the wiring will hold everything in place lol.

It was kinda hard to install, but once I got the idea and the hang of what I was doing it went well. I walk my dogs in the mornings before work and when I try to start my car while outside with them they try to jump in or pull on the leashes and makes it difficult. I love that now I can start my car with out needing to be it. Works great, worth every penny, and fit nicely.

It work's for my 2015 Nissan Rogue SV. The installation manual could be better. I watch the video from Startx, as well as some competitors on Youtube to better understand the disassembly and installation process. It took me roughly 55 minutes to have it installed, cleaned up and tested. Install is very easy if you do some research.

Been wanting one for quite a while I love it it works great the only problem is I can't seem to keep it running after I touch the brake pedal it shuts off but other than that it works great I'm sure I can solve that problem but can't figure it out right now

Kinda tricky to install because space is tight in the dash and there’s not much play on the Factory Harness, but it’s definitely doable and I’ve loved it ever since.Being able to use the Factory Remote and not have a second Remote to lug around is wonderful.Only thing of note, when you use the Remote Start and get in the car, you obviously have to close the doors before pressing the Brake or it’ll shut off, but even with the door shut, it “acts” like it shuts off briefly because the AC will turn off, but the car stays running and the AC comes right back on. Just confused me in the beginning.

Product is well built and works very well. Documentation could be better. Watch the videos from Startx, as well as some competitors on Youtube to better understand the disassembly and installation process. You will want to remove the side panel, then 2 10mm bolts for the hood and fuel door releases. Unsnapped the lower dash panel. Unplug the 4 or 5 buttons you may have on the left side of the dash panel and move out to the way. Find the BCM module, remove the 10 mm bolt at the bottom of it that holds it in place and slide out. It is much easier to install if the module is slid out. Have a small flat screw-driver to help with pressing in the tabs to get the harness plugs out as well as good lighting. After watching the videos and coming prepared it, it took me roughly 30-45 minutes to have it installed, cleaned up and tested. Install is very easy if you come prepared.

This product works as described which is wonderful to have a remote start if your rogue didn’t come with one from the factory. I installed this for a friend who was so grateful for it in the colder weather season. It’s great for that!However, there is more to the panels to take off compared to the video. Once the side panel comes off, the whole bottom part comes off better if you unscrew the 2 10mm bolts down by the gas tank and hood release buttons that connects to a metal bracket. That’ll free things up more. It was a pita to undo the harnesses without taking out the module due to very little room with other wires and the steering column. Just have patience and find the tabs on each harness to wiggle them off. Come from underneath the plastic panels which will give more room for your hands to unplug the further back harnesses. Good luck and just know it’ll work once you get everything plugged back in with the new harness and module!
