Comes in a plain white box. But easy to put together. The grandkids love them. Decent range.

Fun activity for the kids and instructors are easy to follow.The only issue we had was after completing the assembly was the functionality. Once we put batteries in nothing worked or turned on however the circuit board was getting hot to the touch, after careful inspection it seems there is a wiring issue from the battery case to the circuit board.If you look closely it say "-" on the left and "+" on the right on the circuit board however the wiring from the battery case is flip.Solution #1: Cut wiring from battery case and reconnect black to red and vice versa.Solution #2: Place batteries opposite from battery case instructorsOnce corrected the walkies worked just fine

Bought this for a Christmas gift for our only grandson. A few days later he came over so he and Papaw could build it. He is almost 8 and needed some help. In the end they worked and have a pretty good range!

This was purchased as a group activity for my learners (our current project is on instructions). Unfortunately, although the instructions were clear and relatively easy to follow (if a little time consuming), we have not managed to make a single working walkie talkie.The first is correctly put together according to instructions but even with batteries there are no lights or sounds. I have taken it apart myself and put it back together multiple times but can’t see the issue. The only thing I can notice is that all of the wires are the opposite colour to the ones in the instructions, but they have been inserted the correct way according to the instructions so I have just assumed that the casing on the wires was put on wrong. I had hoped to contact the seller for support but it says that service is not available.For the second, the one side piece broke as they were trying to remove it from the packaging. This was not done heavy handedly and the product is made for their age so was very disappointing. I am also missing the other side piece due to my own error, as I was wandering around trying to get the other to work and must have misplaced the piece. I have therefore been unable to put the second walkie talkie together.In time I may choose to try and use the other circuit to see if I can. Make one functioning walkie talkie, but at present it seems pointless given you need two to actually use the product. I would greatly appreciate contact for support on what the issue might be and whether it is possible to get replacements for the broken/lost parts.At present I cannot rate above a 2, which is for the clarity of instructions.

My 9 year old son had fun building these. They’re kind of cheap and dinky but great STEM tool for kiddos. Worked great! Kids have used them since Christmas. Highly recommend
