The bulb is nice and bright, but it does not look like a real light bulb as the bulb itself is plastic. Additionally, this is not a trick that I would feel comfortable handing to a spectator to handle. The base screws on, and can easily screw off and in the hands of a spectator that is dangerous to the illusion. I have had other versions of this trick that looked much more realistic.

I suppose a 5-8 year old could be tricked into believing you can power a light bulb like this, but good luck trying to trick anybody older. It's still cool but the low quality detracts from the trick.
