Received defective part. It had some sort of short or something. The brake lights worked when it was installed, but the car wouldn’t start. Switched back to the old part I was replacing and the car started fine. I bought the $20 Beck/Arnley switch and that one is working with no problems.

Easy to fix. Worked on my 2012 Nissan Sentra. Turn left to removed, press latch to remove cable. Put replacement on, press brake with hand and then insert and turn right. Great product.CORRECTION: Do not press brake when inserting, this will cause you calipers to lock, I found out the hard way. Simply insert, apply light pressure, you'll see brake pad move slightly back, then turn right.

The part provided was defective and caused us to need to bring the car to a professional to be repaired costing 10x+ the initial part cost. The seller was not helpful in finding a solution.
