I recently installed these locks at my mother-in-law's house. The screws that come with these locks are very short at 1" long. For the part that mounts on the door trim, the screws barely go through the trim. Someone could easily give the door a hard kick and rip the screws out or pull the trim off of the wall. I used longer #8 x 3" screws for the part that mounts to the door trim so the screws would go into the studs. For the door, I used #8 x 1-1/4" screws .

I like that it clicks when locking the door with the arm. The finish is nice and matte feels good.

I purchased a set (came in 2) for the double garage doors. It was very easy to install, and the quailty of the swing bar locks is very good. I will lock the garage doors from the inside before leaving town for long trips.
