the base and hole pattern are slightly too small I might have to exchange it for the 965 waiting for an answer from Taylor made since Amazon doesn't put the dimension's of the base and hole pattern

Looks nice, works great. Would have liked a thumb screw to tighten flag pole. Not an issue though. At speeds of 50 mph plus flag stays in place.

Be aware that this holder does not have a set-screw to hold the flag pole in place. Not sure how one would use this on a boat as I intended to do. First breeze and the flag and holder will be in the drink.

Just the thing for your 1" flagpole and flag to attach to a railing on your porch. And, given that it is made for a marine environment, it will last pretty much forever.
