Have used it for ocean snorkeling. Good reach but wish it had better features. Difficult to adjust camera to get good shots under reefs outcrops. Compare with shorter Telesin Waterproof 360 Selfie Stick for GoPro, 25.75“ (purchased first) and that has a swivel head and clip for hand strap. Switched it out for floaty straps and it’s almost perfect just too short. Combine the features and the length and it would be perfect. Looking to buy swivel head to add.

I went to mount the stick to the car mount tonight and the bottom part with the female socket/screw just continued to turn. Removed it and the metal just slid out onto my trunk. It seems that instead of the metal screwing in to the carbon somehow, it was just glued there instead. Luckily I caught this before I went driving or it would have caused me to damage or lose my camera. It worked well for the most part but I am extremely unsatisfied with this discovery tonight after only a month of use. I would like a refund or a replacement.

I did the purchase of above selfie stick in July 24 end but by simple tightening the mount broke into pieces and in absence of the same I am not in position to use this and looking for immediate replacement.

slightly longer - which makes it more stable, half the cost of insta's long pole and very light. easy to use and so far so great

This Gopro stick is great for fishing to get both underwater shots and high overhead shots of anglers fighting fish. I wish the tip extension was a little more stout, but this is fairly light weight. I highly recommend this product.

So, you read the description and you see the numbers and...then you get it...and it keeps getting longer and longer and longer and you're like, WOW. The in-person experience for how long this is, is hard to describe. But I can stand on the edge of my kitchen and extend this all the way, and I can touch the far wall of my dining room. And I'm talking the LONG WAY of the room.First of all, the feature set goes beyond just 'selfie stick'. I'm a bit of an "enthusiastic amateur" photographer, and one thing I can tell you for sure is photographers like it when out gear does "double duty", or more than one thing. Photography gear is expensive (especially good stuff) and when we can get more than one use out of things, we LIKE it.So not only does this come with the standard go-pro mount as part of its general construction, but it also comes with a 1/4"-20 adapter so not only can you use it with a point-and-shoot camera (don't go TOO heavy, no DSLRS or interchangeable lens mirrorless cameras, it's not made for those kinds of loads). With a max payload of 13 ounces, your point and shoot camera better be of the lighter variety. You could also use it as a microphone boom if your mic in question has a 1/4"-20 mount (many do), or a gaffer pole for flash strobes (once again, provided they aren't too heavy) if you need somebody to hold a rim light or something.One other nice little option it has is the same 1/4"-20 threaded female in the end of the handle (which has a REAL nice grip, btw...golf-club quality) so if you need to give yourself a little "relief leverage", you could add a grip handle, provided it had a 1/4"-20 attachment. And because this is a REALLY LONG pole, adding a grip handle at the end might provide a lot of needed leverage, especially if you plan on doing more than just taking a selfie. This is a thoughtful feature that they could have just ignored and not included, but they took that extra step. That's pretty top-notch, to me. They show it in the video as being for a tripod...I think this has VERY limited use as a tripod, and would be MUCH more useful as a handle attachment point for an extra grip handle, I think.They did a really good job of packing a really LONG, relatively strong carbon fiber tube into a short (when compressed), very light weight package. Can't believe how long this actually is (I literally laughed at it when I opened it all the way), and it's not just a 1-trick pony, you can use this for more than one thing, and you can even accessorize it or use it as a tripod. But yeah. That's definitely last on the list. And did you see the price on this thing? It floors me that they can make something that's actually THIS NICE, for THIS MUCH MONEY. It's less than $75! As someone who owns some pricey carbon fiber tripods (I don't think I've bought a tripod that cost less than $250), when I see something this well made for this amount of money, it gets 5 stars. This is worth every penny they're asking.

there are times when we are out and about that I wished we had a longer reach selfie stick pole to get the proper shot and the full background... or something that would provide that extra reach if you can't get close enough... and this solves that problem. It's a solid pole and easy to extend and feels super secure and firm... not like the flimsy ones I've had in the past. This would be great for when we are out on the boat or snorkling to get that really nice up close shot that we otherwise would not be able to get.
