I really wanted my son to get to experience these "Chinese handcuffs" because I loved them when I was a kid. They were cute little gimicky toys you might win at a duck pond event or carnival. Those worked and were well made. These are poorly constructed so they do not hold both fingers. Some of them held one finger but not the other. I know they don't make things like "the old days" but I am still really disappointed. It was a waste of money.

I got these to put in goody bags for my sons birthday party and they were the almost fun as hitting the piñata to the kids they had a fit with these. We definitely recommend for any kids birthday party for what to put in a goodie bag none of them were broken. They were all good when they came in, so that was really nice too. Definitely a good buy.

Bought these for kids that had never saw them before and they loved them. They were not great quality, they ripped very easy but I expected that. The only result issue I didn't appreciate was the wood pieces sticking out of some making them sharp and easy to splinter. Overall though, they did what I needed from them and good for kids that will tear them up anyways. Just be cautious for the smaller ones.

I bought these really as a joke for myself, having seen them on TV shows in the past. I thought they'd be fun to try. Overall, they are okay, but they aren't perfect.The material they're made of is scratchy to the fingers. They don't really hold on that well. My sister tried several in the bag and none of them would stay on her fingers LOL, so it wasn't much of a puzzle for her at all. She has normal size hands for a female, by the way.They DO work, mostly, just not quite what I expected. Not comfortable to use, not remotely hard to figure out how to get it off your fingers, way too easy. Maybe would be more fun for a kid and more of a puzzle for them to figure out how to get out of it.Not a bad thing, just not that great.

I know these are designed primarily for children but there are some adults who enjoy the challenge they provide. Unfortunately, the first one I tried, my fairly large index fingers pulled right out without any challenge. I then inserted my fingers as far as I could and was able to get the trap to work but pulling too hard ultimately tore the trap apart. The paper or product used to make them is very flimsy and does not hold up well to adult pressure. Probably OK for children as I have not had the chance to test them on our Granddaughters yet but I feel they will hold up to their pulling but not so sure of whether their smaller fingers will cause the trap to tighten. Quantity you get for the price is a good value but I am hesitant to give them a rating of more than two stars.

Like all finger traps, this is not the highest quality product but is exactly what you expect. We were using them in a play and needed to purposefully break it for a scene and the actor had to work quite hard to break it. Overall fairly durable!
