The Mini Hedgehog spiral featherboard has a unique spiral shape and single knob that quickly pivots into position for different board thicknesses. Traditional featherboards require you to stop what you’re doing, loosen two knobs, reposition the featherboard, and then retighten each knob.
The Mini Hedgehog's Finer Features
Like the original Hedgehog featherboard, the Mini Hedgehog's spiral shape and curved fingers reduce kickback which is when the board is flung back toward your body. The board easily moves in the foward direction but not in the reverse direction.
The Mini Hedgehog featherboard improves safety by pushing the board tight against the table top which helps reduce kickback.
The Hedgehog featherboard is made of toughened engineered DuPont nylon resin for strength and impact resistance.

Strongly recommend this feather board design. There are a lot out there and I am sure others are very good. I found for the price it is well designed and works easily. You should also invest in t-tracks when you buy this product unless you already have a fence with t-tracks installed. Enjoy!

these are nice on the router table fence. to hold work down. However they don't really hold as well as I'd like. Still, nice idea and I do use them.

Gave them a try but ended up returning them. Got the BOW FencePro instead. The fins on these are too stiff and don't flex enough when pushing the wood through. They have to be set in Just the right place or they're either too tight or too loose. And you have to crank them down Hard or they'll move. I like the soft foam cam style of the other brand way better. Safer, easier to set up and work great.
