The SazkJere Timer Delay Relay is a programmable time controller designed for various applications requiring timed switching. Here’s a detailed review of its features, advantages, and potential drawbacks:Pros:High Current Capacity:20A Rating: With a maximum current rating of 20 amps, the relay can handle substantial loads, making it suitable for a range of applications including high-power devices and systems.Power Handling:1500W Capacity: The relay can manage up to 1500 watts of power, providing versatility in its use. This makes it capable of controlling various appliances and systems that require time-based operation.Programmable Time Control:Custom Timing: The relay allows for programmable time delays, enabling users to set specific durations for when the relay should turn on or off. This flexibility is useful for applications like automated lighting, heating systems, or other timed control needs.Switch Type Output:Passive Output: The passive switch type output provides straightforward operation, ensuring that the relay can be used in a variety of circuits without adding complexity.DC12V Operation:Low Voltage: Operating at 12V DC makes it compatible with a wide range of low-voltage applications, including automotive and battery-powered systems. This also simplifies integration into existing setups.Versatile Applications:Wide Range of Uses: The timer delay relay can be used in various scenarios, such as in automotive systems, home automation, industrial controls, and more. Its ability to manage time-based switching is valuable in many different contexts.Cons:Limited Voltage Compatibility:DC12V Only: The relay operates exclusively at 12V DC, which may limit its use in systems requiring higher voltages or AC operation. Users needing compatibility with other voltage levels will need to consider alternative options.Complex Programming:Learning Curve: Depending on the design, programming the time delays might involve a learning curve for users unfamiliar with timer relays. Detailed instructions or a user manual might be necessary to fully understand and utilize its features.Physical Size:Space Requirements: Depending on the design and housing of the relay, it may require a significant amount of space in the installation area. Users should ensure that there is adequate space for mounting and connecting the relay.Durability Concerns:Build Quality: The durability of the relay's components is crucial for long-term reliability. Users should check the quality of the construction to ensure it can withstand repeated use and environmental conditions.Lack of Features:Basic Functionality: The relay focuses on basic time delay switching and might lack advanced features such as remote control, programmable schedules, or detailed configuration options found in more sophisticated timers.Overall:The SazkJere Timer Delay Relay is a robust and flexible option for users needing a programmable time controller for various applications. Its high current and power handling capabilities, along with programmable time delays, make it suitable for many timed switching scenarios. While it operates at a fixed 12V DC and may require some familiarity with programming, it provides valuable functionality for automating and controlling systems based on time. Users should ensure that the relay meets their specific voltage and feature requirements, but overall, it offers a practical solution for managing time-based electrical control.

The simplicity, flexibility, and pricing of this device are great. For the switch-type version, the output provides a connection between the output ports but does not provide power. If you want output power, opt for the active output version.

when there is a power failure and the power comes back, some devices try to connect to internet before cable modem is back online. these devices give up and never get back.i use this devise to wait 3 minutes before powering on the offending devices. no documentation, but i played with buttions and figured out seconds / minutes / hours, and how to set them . set on or off to zero seconds if you dont want that option.
