PW302 Features & Installation Modes
Smart Chip & Manual Release Key
- The “auto-close” function ultimately secures the property after you leave.
- Reverses upon first obstruction and stops upon the second sequential obstruction during gate operation. Adjust the stall force to get your desired open / close obstruction sensitivity. Higher stall force level, lower obstruction sensitivity.
- Soft start and soft stop ensure a long-lasting performance.
- The above modules can be adjusted on the smart control panel directly.
- Equipped with manual release key in case of power outage or when you lose your remote.
Gate Capability
- PW302 gate opener works well for the light duty dual swing gate up to a maximum of 12ft. in length (correspondingly 100lbs. in weight) per gate leaf.
- Suitable for the swing gate up to 300lbs. in weight (correspondingly 4ft. in length) per gate leaf.
- Kindly note that the max. gate length capability is inversely proportional to the gate weight.
Max. Opening Angle of the Gate in Pull-to-Open Installation Mode

How to Power This Gate Opener? (NOTE: The tiny CR2025 3V button cell batteries that come with the package are ONLY for the remote control.)
Power Mode 1 (Default Mode) – Use AC Electricity Only
- Use the AC electricity to power the system.
- Recommended where AC electricity is accessible and stable.
- The DPS180-U Power Supply is plugged into a 100-240VAC 50Hz/60Hz outlet and delivers 24VDC to power the system directly.
- Release the clutch and open the gate manually in case of power outage.
- Note: DPS180-U can NOT connect with battery or solar panel.
Power Mode 2 – By AC Electricity and Back-up Batteries
- Batteries as back-up power source, use the AC electricity to charge the batteries (UPS01 Uninterrupted Power Supply is NOT included).

So this is not my first time with an automatic gater opener. So my previous system failed.So a through review. Hardware 10/10. Most of the hardware exceeded my expectations.Electronics, I like how the system works. Note the manufacturer could improve power supply, as well control panel by having an access at the bottom of the enclosures not big deal. I also mounted both boxes inside water proof utility enclosures. The control panel is very user friendly and the instructions are pretty clear.Post bracket and post pivot bracket both sets of holes; this should be looked at versus other companies. Ideally a smaller set of holes, aswell as a greater range of holes could help greater optimization of opening. (if Topens reviews this is I could go into detail).I have had this gate working for a couple months, one arm is working much slower than the other this may be due to the cold winter in the Midwest, probably in spring time I will reach out to opens and ask for assistance if it persists.

This works great. Happily opens my dual gate all day long through snow, rain, sun and Ice. Adding components to it is a breeze for anyone with basic electronics skill.Only downside is you are supposed to use a steel 4x4 or wood 6x6 post. I built the gate first using 4x4 before deciding to electrify it. So far the gate is holding together fine. If it breaks the post over time thats on me, ill do it right.

This is actually a pretty nice product, and does exactly what it says. The directions are pretty good, but it doesn’t really go into enough detail on the adjustments. Other than that, it’s pretty straightforward, has lots of room for adjustment and doesn’t appear to have any issue my application. Dual gate, on remote, good quality… check, check, check! I picked up the additional accessories which include the automatic lock and push button. They also seem to be good quality and we’re easy to install. If wants to send me an WiFi setup I’d be happy to do a review on it! Overall, it works great and is worth a few hundred dollars for the set up.

At the outset this proved to be exactly what I wanted to automate the gates to the rear of my home. They were easy to install and were fully operatational quickly and did exactly what I wanted. All was well and then after a few months one of the gate actuators started playing up - in a very untechnical description, it would "stick" while closing, go back and forth a couple of times and then release itself and close - very frustrating and gradually worsening. I went onto Topens website and reached out to them and within hours I was contacted by Lori from TOPENS Customer Service Team. Despite the issues faced, I think this is a great product and would recommend it but even with good products, every so often, something goes wrong and then you find out if the product is backed by a solid company. This product, in my experience, is. Lori responded to me in hours, not several days. She would send me guidance and videos to try to problem solve and find out where the fault was. In return I sent videos and pictures to show what was happening and immediately got a response - I mean within a few hours. The efficiency and attention to the customer was amazing and after just a few back and forths, Lori quickly and efficiently organized a replacement shipped to me - no hassle, no need to return parts - just a new part to replace what was faulty. I have nothing but high praise for the efficiency, promptness and total commitment to customer service that I received from Lori. Even great products can go wrong and what you then need is a company that backs their products and ensures that the customer is looked after and issues are addressed with minimum fuss and hassle - TOPENS from my experience is one of those companies and Lori was the best - I highly recommend!!!

I've been using this gate opener for about 6 weeks. I have to lock some goats in a barn at night, because we have predators that like to eat them. I can open the gate with the remote control in the mornings, without having to walk out to the barn. The remote reaches from my house, to the barn, about 100 feet, and through the walls of the barn. The goats push their feed trough around in the barn. If their feed trough happens to be in front of the gate, the gate opener has enough power to push the trough out of the way. The opener has a safety feature that will stop if there is something too difficult to move. I had a rock getting caught under the gate, and the opener would stop when the rock got stuck. The opener has a soft start, and soft stop, and opens slowly enough, so the goats can see and hear it, and get out of the way, if they need to. I have a wireless camera, where I can see that no goats are in the way, before I open the gate, then I can be sure that the gate opened all the way, so the goats can get out. It was easy enough to install. Considering that these would normally be installed by a professional, the manufacturer has made all of the wires, and everything, so that it is about as do-it-yourself friendly as it can be. It was easy to install, once I laid everything out, and saw how it was made. I like having the power supply, so I don't have to rely on batteries. I live in Texas, and this summer was 105-110F degrees, every day, for weeks. Everything seems to have held up during that heat.
