These were designed for those with large calves. Extending the female portion of the velcro could've solved this problem. Still.. the strap sticks out beyond the knee pad. Toughbuilt needs better input on all their products. It's a shame since ToughBuilt puts a great deal of quality in their manufacturing. And don't get me started on the flat stabilizer pads.Toughbuilt could have omitted a minimum of 3 inches from this elastic velcro strap. These now sit and collect dust, flat stabilizers as well. Useless If kneepads don't stay on. I purchased them as a light duty alternative to your Gelfit Thigh Support pads. It has been my experience that Toughbuilt has the right idea on all of their products, but put little thought into their execution. I have purchased a few of your products. Various tool bags, cell holder, belts, etc. It's hit and miss with you guys. You make a good product...just need more input from professionals that actually use these items. Still waiting on improvements. Till then...Milwaukee and Dewalt will have to suffice.

Bought these about 8 months ago & love them! For the 1st few months I worked on my knees daily for about 6 to 7 hours of 8 to 10 hour shifts. Now it's daily for a week every 3 weeks.I love that the strap is only below the knee. It helped a lot when it comes to the pain of a typical 2 strap that bunches up your jeans behind your knee. This single strap still bunches them up a little but not nearly as bad.The padding is very durable and thick. While they have shaped to the way my knees sit in them, they haven't flattened yet by any means. My only complaint is that I wish the velcrow was sewn on better. One of them has almost entirely ripped off but I refuse to buy a new pair because there's still so much life left in this pair so I just tape it around my leg.

These knee pads are great and feel nice to work in, but they are way too large for me.I'm 5' 9", average build, and these knee-pads feel huge. And they slide down while walking around to grab tools and whatnot. The exchangeable protectors is a neat idea. I feel like I'd wear out the internal padding first before needing to replace the plastic hard cover.

Out of all the knee pads I like this one the most because of the quick single strap and comfort. This is the 2nd time I bought this product after my father kept losing a variety of knee pads including this one. I do plan on buying more for back up. Recently he just lost a brand new one, luckily a co-worker has found it today. *sigh*

I wear these for hours at a time crawling around in rocky river beds on granite and quartz digging for rocks. These have held up well considering I am 245lbs, and are ultra comfortable, theres virtually no pressure on my knees at all. The only problem I have with them is that when you are kneeling down the top is parallel with the ground so they act like a shovel and fill with dirt and rock between them and your knee. Id highly recommend these for indoor construction work but no so much for outdoor and landscaping unless you make some cover to prevent them from backfilling with rocks.

My second pair in 2yrs...only reason i didn't replace the shell is cause I wore them too tight and the stretching caused the stitching on the strap to rip off so I bought a new pair...i install cap/copping on parapets on flat roof and Im on my knee for work literally 6 days a week about 5-6 hours per day

The product was flawless in construction, and felt like I was kneeling on a cloud.Sadly if they had a better staging system to compensate for smaller users, it would have been 100 due to the fact it was too big to use effectivelymake adjustable strap system to cater to smaller users

I work as a cabinet maker and installer, these are so comfortable its like shoes for my knees. My knees are protected while i work. The removable caps are a perfect feature for when I'm working on finished flooring vs unfinished subfloor and concrete. I'm 5'7'' these seem big when you look at them but the size is just right. Fit well without slipping or moving around. Comfortable enough for a couple hours of wear. I've been using them for only about a month so I'll reply if there starts to be a durability issue on the strap.

I bought these knee pads for working on hard surfaces. I'm usually wrenching on vehicles at home so I'm on my knees quite a bit at times. I have a set of knee pads from another make that is leather but it is nowhere near the comfort level of these knee pads. The knee pads are constructed well and I like how the shell can be replaced or changed with another depending on the type of surface you are working on. Also, it saves from having to purchase an entire new knee pad if only the plastic piece was worn out or damaged. Just pop it off and snap on a new piece! Fit was great and the range from the velcro straps was enough for me. It's not tight and constricting. I was able to walk freely and it did not feel uncomfortable. It also didn't flop around excessively either. On the ground, the knee pads provided excellent cushioning and I felt not pain or pressure points. I was kneeling on the ground but it was comfortable. The hard plastic exterior did not slip on the smooth garage floor. There was no knee pain getting off the ground. This is now my go to. If you're in the market for new pads, go and treat yourself to comfort!! I wish I had these years ago.
