The search was for a 2003 4 runner. The part sent was not even close. Don't trust the search engine and unless you have the specific part number, I would not trust it. Further, the site failed to list models the part was comparable with. Now I have to take the time, effort and energy to return it.

This was the perfect replacement after the cable on my original hoist snapped and left my spare tire in the middle of the street.

The origin one lasted 10 years, cable was good, but the terminal end was too rusty to trust. Didn't want to risk dropping the spare while going down the road

Perfect fit. Easier to install if you loosen the back 4 mounts on the bed and lift it a couple of inches.
