This thing is a beast! Exceptionally well built. Nice clean welds.I need a strong mount, because I am using this as a winch mount for a railcar trailer. (Kind of like a big UTV with steel wheels).This is exactly what I needed.The price has gone up more than 25% since I bought mine, but it is still a decent value.

I bought this to mount a spare tire on my new boat trailer. Functionally, it's perfect and very heavy duty. Super easy to install. I have a new, nice looking trailer and boat and this thing looks just as great as everything around it.

I ordered one of these to mount a second spare tire on the rear bumper of my RV but found that it sits lower than the stock mount. The high-tire, low-tire appearance looked weird so I ordered another of these to match (removed stock mount). Both mounted easily and have multiple holes in the plates to accommodate different sizes of bumpers (or frames) and tires. Nice that the mounting options allow the spare tires to mount directly to the plate as opposed to most mounts that have one bolt that goes through the wheel's lug hole and a second bolt that goes through the hub hole and holds the wheel fast using a flat metal bar that merely tightens against the wheel (usually bowing the bar a bit in the process). This mount also uniquely includes extra nuts so the lug nuts holding the spare on can be doubled for security. The design of the mount's body is also solid and makes sense in offering more triangulated support as opposed to other mounts that just hang the spare tire out there on a single arm (many of which have reviews indicating that those welds are prone to break). Haven't gotten the rig out on the road yet so can't comment on how durable the mounts are in the long run, but they look and feel well-built and of good quality. As I noted, my only issue is that the spare tires sit a bit lower than with many other mounts.

I ordered this spare tire for my boat trailer. This mount is very strong and has wonderful welding throughout. I ordered this unit because it has an open fitting that allows me the secure the frame to my boat trailer with a chain to secure the spare tire and the frame to my trailer. Great value and wonderful price.

Fits good. Seems sturdy. Had to trim top two bolts to clear the dump bed. I just put it on. Haven’t towed trailer with it on yet.

Takes up much less space than the one I removed. I had an additional luggage rack at the back of my RV from factory that made difficult to access storage area now nothing in the way.
