This 10G copper SFP+ module works with standard SFP+ slots commonly found in network switches and fiber media converters. Save on equipment costs by repurposing a switch’s unused SFP+ slots for reliable copper connectivity with TRENDnet’s 10G copper SFP+ module.

Working perfectly in my TEG-3102WS. I have it set up as a 10Gbps trunk and it works well, though it runs at 70C give or take a degree here and there - which is to be expected. Thinking about adding another fan to my rack to move air in and around the switch to help with this as much as I can.Be mindful of some ethernet cables as they might be a bit difficult to snap in, although the cables I terminated myself don't have this issue.

Go with a higher quality GBIC and product- These did not work at all I bought 3 of them. The exact match for the Trend Net 10GB media convertor. Just returned everything after I wasted an entire weekend trying to reply a 10GB fiber backbone - will never try this brand again.

I put two of these SFP+ modules side-by-side in my Trendnet TEG-3102WS switch. They worked flawlessly. They run very hot, but cooler than some other SFP+ modules I tried.I notice that many SFP+ vendors say their product runs great in various brand products, but I haven't seen them mention Trendnet. I tried less expensive SFP+ modules in my Trendnet switch and had back luck with them. Possibly they were just defective, possibly they were incompatible. Hard to know.

Most of these tend to run hot - this is no exception. A small number run cooler - must be a different chip set. But the big differentiator with the Trendnet is that it is NDAA compliant -- that is, it is certified not to use components made from companies the US gov feel are untrustworthy for telecomm equipment. Of the NDAA options, this one is 30% less expensive than the next lowest price one I've found. And performance is on par with the best (around 7.8Gb/s when maxed out with jumbo frames). So, a great item!

I have 4 of these units and they all work great. Fully compatible with the Netgear MS510TXM switch as well as the Intel X710-DA2 and X520-DA1 NICs.

Works as designed, no problems in a Netgear M4300 switch

Works as expected. BUT I just used it with a Trendnet media converter box so I can’t say how well it works with other units (which can be an issue with these fiber SFP modules)

Connects up every time, seems to be reliable, but haven't run this model for very long yet. Runs much hotter than the 1Gb counterpart, but that is expected with 10x data rate.
