It worked perfectly for my bass boat. my transom is starting to get soft, and the top motor bolts were starting to sink into the wood. This stopped that problem and is a much wider area of contact, compared to the bolts with 2 inch washers.

My washers just looked too flimsy for a large motor. Put this on, and it was lots more support.Fit Mercury bolt pattern perfectly.
