鍛造

FORGING

Our manufacturing starts by heating raw metal to over 1,000deg and shape it between two dies on forging hammer by impact force.

This Forging process provides desired shape and also benefits of aligning the grain flow to obtain hardness & strength.

焼き入れ

HEAT TREATMENT

After forging and some machining, pliers enter heat treatment processes. During heating & cooling processes within this stage, metal properties improve or change on strength, hardness, ductility, elasticity or wear resistance etc.

Our pliers are heated and cooled under tight controls and get extra induction hardening on cutting area to obtain ideal balance of these properties on its each part for superior durability.

刃付け

SHARPENING

Heat Treated pliers in best condition are polished and assembled to proceed to sharpening, which is the most important process determining its cutting performance.

Our pliers are sharpened piece by piece by experienced artisan's hand-work. It's adjusted even slight deformation caused on heat treatment process and pliers obtain best cutting performance with optimal edge thickness and angle for each purpose.

Used it to dismantle a million lights show with others. I bought these and they lasted a whole day before they needed to be sharpened again. A great price for a great cutter.

Pull the zip ties with the raised heel and cut it with the tip, smooth finished cuts that won't cut your skin. It can be use as a small wire cutter too, the other good value product from this company. Should have bought the 6 inch model for my average hands.

Sharp blade, flush cut, angled blades.Much better than using regular flush cut pliers. There is a pliers section that can be used to tighten the tie but I don't use it often.I bought a second pair to keep with my nylon ties so I don't always have to go find it in the tool cabinet. It is relatively expensive but is definitely worth buying (two in my case).

All cutters offer exceptional sharpness and solid construction. The 6” tie cutter model lacks a spring to assist opening. However the jaw opening is unparalleled and the grip section is terrific for tightening zip ties. It’s flat ground tip was likely chosen to protect the surface beneath a zip tie while cutting. This limits some precision use but makes sense given its intended application. Its head is also angled to allow easy access for flush cuts against walls or in tight spaces. While the KNIPEX offers exceptional quality, the narrow opening jaws severely limit its versatility. However, for the right application the KNIPEX would be great for delicate work in a compact form factor. The grip, spring and precision tip are terrific. The hinge action is unrivaled. For a tradesman tool, the lack of a tip protector or spring lock is a mistake. However, none of these tools offer a lock for transport. Both the 7” and 8” Tsunoda cutters offer the same quality and features with the 8” adding a bolt-stop which can be used to promote blade protection or to execute partial depth cuts. The 8” also offers a slightly larger/longer cutter which could be beneficial for cutting large plastic crate-ties.

This flush cutter is purpose built for effectively cutting plastic flush and smooth. The ridged part is awesome for gripping cable ties to tighten them. The cut was flush and smooth.

The quality is a pleasant surprise compared to all the crap coming out of China these days. The cutting edges are perfectly aligned and sharp, and cut flush. The tie grips are very useful for tightening the tie before cutting.

I love these, there's nothing else like them.I work in assembly which means I'm cutting dozens to hundreds of cable ties daily and using an assortment of hand tools. I always have flush cutters in a dedicated belt pouch on me.I've been using no-name 6" flush cutters that work fine, as long as the blade is sharp. I sprung for these Tsunodas, partially because of the pliers feature and partially just because they look cool and unique.Sometimes I would run into a small fastener that just needs to be broken loose. Even though it's bad for the blade, if all I had on me were the cable cutters I'd sometimes try to use them (I know). With these there are more ways to grip things without damaging the blades. They have a nice finish and cut very well. Only downside is, they do not feature a spring to open the pliers. That's not really a problem once you get used to using them. Very nice, would recommend

This tool is great, never even knew I needed it until I used it, I’ve been cutting my ties with sidies for ever like a pleb. I ended up purchasing the 150mm after this as the 100mm is smaller than I realised.

These are amazing little pliers that are wickedly sharp (be warned). Perfectly flat and more than capable of cutting cable ties as these are really intended for. Would buy again

This is replacing a pair of USA-made Klein flush cutters, which were very cheap but not actually flush-- the blades were close, but definitely misaligned. This slightly more expensive pair of pliers has absolutely flawlessly aligned blades that are very sharp, making easy work of even the massive zip-ties we've been using for securing 3 conductor 750 kcmil cables to tray, and the gripping teeth on the blade speeds up the process, letting you quickly tighten and cut zip ties with a single tool. This is probably the most efficent way of dealing with zip-ties, short of a zip-tie gun, and even then, this'll work great in small panels and confined spaces. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with a bunch of zip-ties.

Just got these and really like what I see. They appear very well made. I work on machinery that has gazillions of cable ties on them and grow tired of constantly scratching myself on the ones cut off with standard dykes. These snip off the extra length so flush with the end that you can't even feel it anymore-it is smooth to the touch. These were the only true flush cut I could find that were also rated to cut copper wire up to 10AWG. Similar tools caution against wire and say for use on plastic or wood only. So, I feel like this one might be a true "dual purpose" tool. They worked fine on heavy cable ties too. If these hold up, they'll deserve five stars.
