It is only 1ft 2Inches at best which means that you'll definitely be needing an extension if using it to connect to your home. An RV shouldn't have a problem assuming it has its own cord to make up the distance.Most of these types of cords are 1.5 ft. With that I can see some extra give. But to get a 90degree angle puts some strain on the cord. The cord and overall construction is solid so it shouldn't be a problem.
