Don't buy this. An eighteen carat tennis bracelet lost a stone when the machine broke the bracket encasing the stone. The reason I mention the quality of the bracelet usually lower (14 K) is not as strong. I'm shocked this happened. Also, the dullness of a ring stone was immediately noticed. Nothing as advertised.

I was able to clean glass with a very noticeable difference, but I didn't notice as much of a difference with some of the metal I put in. I think all the jewelry I cleaned did look a little shinier. The basket makes things easier and it's helpful. The size is perfect for cleaning a pair of glasses, which is what I use it for the most and it's quick! Overall, a nice thing to have around for cleaning little things.

I originally got this to give as a birthday gift for a friend of mine, but found out she has one. I decided to keep it & used it to clean my glasses & some silver earrings. The glasses came out great. The earrings took a couple of cycles, but came out cleaner than before, but not stunning. I put some cleaner in & tried to clean a few old sterling baby spoons I have. I used the max setting, but there was no difference. When I first plugged it in, I could not tell the unit was on. The display on mine is not very bright & I could not get the timer to change. Finally I found that if I "massage" the timer button, it will change. Perhaps I need to keep trying some different cleaners to get the results I was hoping for.

I used this for glasses, jewelry, and retainers. Gets the stubborn gunk off my glasses that you can’t get off with wipes.

You can clearly see the the 1st picture my jewelry is extremely dirty and on the 2nd picture after 180 seconds in the cleaner filled with tap warm water and 4 tiny drops of Dawn Ultra dish soap is super clean. If you want more you can change the settings to 300 seconds. I am super pleased with this item. No harsh chemicals cleaner necessary.
