Bristles on this brush start to fall out after a short time

At first this brush seemed fine. Cleaned well, easy to maneuver and fit great on our pole. After the first month it still cleaned well but we noticed the brush looking wear down and found the occasional bristle in the skimmer.Fast forward to the end of last summer and the brush looked like it had seen 5 yrs of usage. we barely even used it. Mostly on the stairs and occasionally moving the shock around.Fast forward again to end of June of this summer. 1 yr & 1 month after purchase. Every time we brushed with it for the month of June we kept finding more & more bristles. Had to replace due to the skimmer being clogged every time we brushed. Come to think of it; this coincide with our pump motor burning out. Odd.Anyhow, this does not last. Our previous brush lasted 4 yrs and barely started to loose bristles when we replaced it. Can not recommend.

I've used and purchased this item in the past. I do like the contour of the brush and it does work well. My only complaint is that this brush (as well as others I've used) don't last more than a year before the bristles start falling out. I know, it's a consumable item but still think it should last longer. I do rinse it regularly with fresh water, after use, and store it as best I can out of direct sunlight but it still fails before too long.

I got this brush at the end of summer and threw it away 2 weeks ago. It was put away for the summer in early September and got out mid May. We found massive bristles in the skimmer and had to toss it. Very disappointed.

The brush bristles are very sturdy and picks up the dirt in the pool very easily.

I'm not impressed by this product in the slightest bit. The bristles start falling out and/or breaking off after only a couple of weeks of use. Who wants pieces of broom bristles in their pool water? A pool brush should be able to withstand chlorinated water without this happening. Very disappointing. Thankfully it didn't cost all that much, now I know why. You get what you pay for.

It is not that wide but super good for a homeowner use. It is smaller so less tiresome to use and clean more thoroughly. I bought this one because the old wider one remains lots of algae even brushed several times
