I'm replacing a similar belt from the Dave manufacturer. After reading the reviews I opted fur this one. I should have bought the other slightly higher priced one as thirst one isn't as rigid, it's missing the plastic insert the other has, so it's not going to work as my EDC belt for CCW. It works just not to my expectations. A good product nonetheless. Get the other belt if you intend to use it as CCW belt.

I did ALOT of research trying to find a solid belt that had a smooth inner and outer side. This belt is nylon on the inside and loop (fuzzy side) on the outside. It is thick and holds its shape, so if you are looking for a closer fit to your duty belt, look elsewhere. I do not use keepers, since I wear a tac vest, so it was perfect for that use. I love the look and feel of this belt and it is strong. If you want a thinner belt that is strong nylon on both sides, try the Blackhawk. It will give you more room to attach your "keepers".

This belt has a loop surface (the fuzzy side of hook & loop), which is useless to me as my outer belt also has a loop surface. The listing should have been more clear on that.

This belt is made to use as the inner belt for the Uncle Mikes Outer duty belt. I guess they sell them separate in the case a consumer already has a belt from another brand. Other reviews state that it doesn't stay fastened when loaded down with their gear. This belt is not made for the gear the outer belt is! The outer belt buckle also keeps the inner belt fastened and for the most part keeps debris out of the "loop" Velcro. The belt "system" is a 5 Star item for me as I wear it 40+ hours a week, with gear I can run and my gear and belt stays put (even without belt keepers). Sizing was spot on for me at 32" waist as well (Both Belts).

Excellent prouduct. Well made. Longevity time well tell. It is a thick belt twice the thicknesses of standerd daily wear belts. If your close to the largest end of the duty belt go the next size up on the duty belt to have room for adjustment.

Great under belt for firearms belt to go on top of. Easy on and off as needed without having to undo gun belt from loops everytime you need to take it off. Holds up well with weight of gun, and fully loaded mags. Belt is nice and stiff, but not SO stiff you cannot maneuver it through the belt loops of your pants, Great for use with 5.11 pants, fits perfectly.

This belt is a cheap alternative to a CR speed belt. I already had a Bianchi inner belt with the hook part of the Velcro so this "inner belt" works great as an outer belt because it has the loop Velcro on it. The two pair together to create a shooting belt that is almost identical to the much more expensive CR speed belt. Most manufacturers make their inner belt with hook velcro and the outer duty belt with loops. Uncle mikes does it the opposite with the loop Velcro on the inner belt and the hook Velcro on the outer duty belt. Uncle Mikes inner belt is very stiff and works well as an outer belt.

Works great, heavy duty. I use this as an inner belt during USPSA matches and action shoots with my outer belt with mag pouches and holster for complete stability with no movement, needed during quick draws and reloads, which is the desired effect. My inner belt has a strip of the velcro "hooks" sewn into it for use with the belt which is has the outer "loops". Would highly recommend.
