This belt was a great replacement for the worn-out belt on our 1280R garage door opener with a 7' door. The installation was straightforward.

Perfect fit to replace my very worn garage door belt that completely stripped out. Much cheaper than soul searching for the right belt at Lowes or the other box store. 20 minute install. This'll do the trick until i can replace the whole ragged thing.

The new ends of the belt are thicker than the original and the master links that are included are to shortIn making this upgraded belt, they have made ends thicker than the original belts but have not upgraded the Master Links. The pins are to short and the locking pins don't extend out far enough to put the keepers on, so this is completely worthless unless you are will to go buy new parts for the ends. You would think that they would have checked all of the measurements and provided the right parts to go along with this upgraded belt.VERY DISAPPIONTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

The belt worked but I had to add a modification. It was a little short. It comes with some extra master links but I needed some links. I added a couple links from a bicycle chain and it worked good.

Had this belt installed for over a year now and it's been working great. A lot cheaper than buying it from the big box stores and direct from the manufacturer.

Fit perfectly. But I spent a lot of time researching the correct part for my door. Took me about an hour to install, but I move pretty meticulous. Watched a couple Youtube videos on how to replace it. Hope it lasts as long as the original (about 20 years). Seems to be good build quality. Garage door company quoted over $300 to replace the belt. Did it myself for

My craftsman original drive belt finally died after 20 years of service. It did not snap, but it was holding by metal strings that are covered under plastic. I watched closely its shape, measured length and ordered this product. It fits right on. It is only fraction of an inch wider, and so it was a tight fit for one of the plastic “rails” the sets direction of the belt. It it fit, I also added some grease that helps it slip through the rail at first, after rail get bent a bit and become wider. I am very happy with the order. Took me 30 mins to install as on my Craftsman 1/2hp 139.53964srt you also need to remove pulley to remove/install the belt.My original oem drive belt code is 05-041a5250, I believe it is also 237” long. And the shape of “teeth” is not a curve, but a piramid with flat top. Pay attention to that, as there are tons of drive belt with a curve shape and they may not fit as well.
