I received the camera yesterday and installed it today. I did not expected it to be easy to install and the image to be very clear. I placed it at the front door and I will buy another one to place at the back door to monitor cars. Don’t hesitate to buy it, value for money.

I don't know anything about cameras, but based off this product's description (very poor for those that don't understand how these things work) and the few reviews the camera had (which supported my confusion) I purchased this as an Xmas gift, assuming that it could be used on a person's current phone network provider (camera advertised as 4G LTE, no WiFi needed). People, it can not. You must subscribe to another network, not your phone's network. Not a U.S. based network. I purchased two cameras, & due to the chaos of visiting relatives and the general holiday madness, did not even attempt to understand the operation of these cameras or try to install until Feb. and now it is too late to return the items. It's an expensive mistake, yet still less costly than one camera's basic yearly subscription. To subscribe, the cheapest plan offered is ~ $20 per month per camera, if you want cloud capacity, etc it is additional subscriptions. I honestly don't know, if I were to subscribe on this network, who also has access to any video or images on this network? I prefaced this review w/acknowledgment that I don't understand these systems, yet I still feel I'd been misled with the limited info provided for how this system works and also what it would cost monthly to run it, which quite frankly, is too expensive. I can see why there isn't any extended return window. If you can afford these kinds of monthly payments, this system may work for you, I wouldn't know, as just trying to set up the cameras had used all the free data they initially came with, specifically for the setup, so I cannot honestly speak about the clarity of any images. (You also download an App to view activity where you can also pay for monthly renewals) I'd have to subscribe monthly to speak about image clarity. I'd have to use it to speak of it's performance in the elements. Honestly, I feel the camera is "so affordable" because it requires such an expensive subscription. It's a very "proprietary stuff" feel when you must use their app, their subscriptions, their network - or else it won't work. Guess I can use this camera for target practice so it's not a total loss.

I've been looking for a solar outdoor camera for some time. When I bought this one, I couldn't have imagined it worked as well as it did. The video is super clear, even at night time. I installed the camera on the corner of my garage to overlook my driveway. The front of my house faces a field, so we constantly get "visitors" hanging out front doing who knows what. We've woken up to beer bottles, trash, needles, etc in our driveway and in front of the street. This camera has a great range of sight so I can keep an eye out on our cars and also on everything across the street. The motion detection works great and the app is also easy to use and navigate. The best part... it's SOLAR. so no need for rechargeable batteries or extra wires. You can install it anywhere. HIGHLY recommend this camera!
